MUEN with a very misleading headline in the city section.
A total piece of arse wiping material

Sorry but many of my left leaning mates treat it like the bible and all the stupid fuckers subscribe to keep it alive!!!!

Then it must just be your mates keeping it going because their hardcopy sales and revenues are pitiful.

It's just such a miserable read. They seem to find misery in everything.

Keown on MOTD: "I watched them at Craven Cottage yesterday. They played like champions. They aren't champions".

Absolute fucking WEAPON.

Also not even true. We’ve been Premier League Champions for 1095 days since winning it on 12/5/2021 and we stay Premier League champions until someone can take it off us.

Bloody hell, when you put it like that, it's incredible isn't it ? The longest serving Champions in the history of English football. We need a song for that if we do it this season.

That would probably be Everton who won the league in 1938/39.

Technically not true.
Everton were champions from May 1939 to May 1947 due to the suspension of the Football League in WW2.
For similar reasons Blackpool can claim to behave been top of the league for the longest consecutive time having been top of the league when the Footbsll League was suspended in September 1939 - a record unlikely ever to be beaten (unless WW3 kicks in).
But this is nit picking on my part - should we win our next two games . - 4 seasons would be the longest spell retaining the title, and we'd have to win it 7 times on the bounce to equal Everton's 'record'.
But as always it isn't over till It's over. We have win both our remaining games to win it this season. We haven't won it yet!

But I know what you mean. - though we'd have to win it 7 times on the bounce to equal that particular record which is very unlikely to happen.

"Longest serving champions in the history of English football, excluding the suspension due to the second world war,

You'll never sing that!"

I suspect we won't, either. Shame ....
