Just had my comment removed by the BBC in reply to one of the many ‘cheats’ posts:

‘How can the BBC continue to allow people to post this nonsense? There are certain allegations against City and, until such time as they are proven, they remain innocent. Quite frankly the BBC (who are so quick to remove comments regarding certain other clubs) should be dealing with these inaccuracies.’

Apparently it contravened their house rules but calling City cheats doesn’t.
@Bozzie huh, amateur. You're going on about a post being removed. I've been banned by the Telegraph, come back when you can match that :-)

“Validation”

I’m seeing this word pop up more and more recently so the question is does anyone seek “validation” for all the success we have had (and continue to have)?

Does having 2180 pages on what the media are saying about us show that we do deep down seek validation?

Whether it’s human nature or a British mentality, people just don’t like anyone being at the top.

I could create an anti city bingo of what people come out with, we could even create a weekly game similar from anything written in the media to on social media and we would all get full houses each week.

When they can’t critique the performances they call it boring.

When you continue to perform to a high level never seen before they call it uncompetitive.

When you hire the right people in the right positions and have a plan in place to recruit well in all areas they call it obscene spending.

When there are a splattering of empty seats on show it’s the emptyhad regardless of whether it is two mins before or after half time and the fans are shit.

When there is a quiet moment in the game it is library and the fans are shit.

When fans don’t act like they are listening to an encore at a Slipknot concert when celebrating a sixth goal v Burnley they are shit fans who are bored with winning.

And when you have exhausted all excuses then we are cheats.

It’s not just us either, no one has ever looked upon any dynastys/successful periods and not had some form of stick.

Leeds under Revie were dirty horrible bastards to an extent that 50 years later they are known as dirty Leeds and people hate them for no other reason in that they are Leeds.

United were hated under Fergie whether it was getting decisions or influencing referees, even their fans were labelled prawn sandwich brigade.

Chelsea under Mourinho were boring and negative, playing anti football and “ruining” English football due to how much they were spending.

Even Arsenal under Wenger were criticised for being too foreign.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve contributed to the thread in the past and had a moan about the wankers who write stuff about our club but at the end of the day, if we didn’t see any media would it effect on how we support our club?

On Sunday we will hopefully be crowned champions of England for the 10th time, and I have now reached a point where I just could not give a fuck what Nick Harris, Miguel Delaney and all the other freaks will be repeating for the sixth time in seven years. Some of them have their whole careers on the line based on the outcome of our hearing. In 25 years, no one will have a clue who these people are, they will be long forgotten, but everyone will remember how good this team and club are and it will be in the history books to remind those who aren’t even born yet.

Enjoy it!
Absolutely nailed on the head!! What a post, fellow Blue!

Dan Roan at his finest.

”And 16 months after City were charged with more than a hundred rule breaches, a hearing in their case is not thought to be scheduled until the autumn, contributing to the mounting scrutiny of the league’s governance and processes.

While City deny wrongdoing, a sixth league triumph in seven years - potentially by just one point for the third time in five seasons after pipping Liverpool in 2019 and 2022 - would only intensify questions over the fairness of how they assembled their squad over several years.

A fourth title in a row would also mean more scrutiny over the time that the case has taken, and whether the club’s wealth has distorted the competitiveness of the league, alongside undoubted admiration for the team and their coach.”

Love how he felt duty bound to add the last 8 words to try and sound balanced.

'The fairness of how they assembled their squad over several years'?!

This herbert, this wazzock, this plank doesn't know what the f**k he's talking about.

Every (and I mean EVERY) club in England's top two tiers could've afforded to bring in Ortega, Akanji, Doku, Gomez, you name them from our squad..

And even the bigger named players we've brought in over the past decade were easily affordable to all of the Premier League clubs, especially those challenging at the top.

Roan wants to ask:

- why those clubs didn't spot these players.
- then he might ask those clubs so unfairly treated by City's capability to spot the right players just exactly which of the shareholder dividend accounts was all their tv and PL money sent to..

The man's a complete and utter herbert.

Not happening anytime soon.

Yesterday I was watching a southamerican programme called "Fútbol Total" with argie pundits mainly and several others from different spanish speaking neighbouring countries.

One could be forgiven for expecting a minimum "analysis" of the Spuds match, but it was a disgusting Pephate fest -under the guise of some comedy around a question of "is Pep the best manager in the planet?" - those clowns spouted such vitriol and lies. Their correspondent in Madrid said that Carletto destroyed Pep at the Bernabeu (it was 3-3) and Pep's excuses were the roof and the grass (he never said we lost because of it). Also that Pep is a traitor to his principles because of his tactics; Pep is a nobody, he wins because of money, he is a fake inventor of nothing, Carletto has got his number. And so on. Complete "La Caverna" of Real Madrid (the cavemen) behaviour, probably gobshites paid by Florentino to make that show.

Which led me to realise, Madrid is the main enemy because its cavernarious propaganda machine hate Pep über alles, they cannot forgive him the way his sides had dismantled Los Franco's Blancos, the spanish state darlings. They hounded Pep off Spain, that's why he was on a sabbatical, then Munich and finally Manchester, where he found a blue heaven. Of course the british media despise him, but they haven't stoop to sewer levels of La caverna madrileña. Not even the Liews, Delooneys, Roans, Simons stone et al. have spouted such vitriol, smear and slanders such as the Madrid troglodytes have.

Pep has nowhere to go.
Like the players usually take a year to find their feet I have a feeling that the warning signs will be there when we appoint a top second in command.

Someone like Alonso coming at the end of next season once he's had a pop at the CL, learning behind Pep and then having full control the season after.

Think we're good with Pep until the end of 25/26 at least.

Unfortunately, I don't think Roan is a "complete Herbert".
I feel he is deliberately ignoring the bargain signings (especially Akanji) City have made.
This is part of a subtle BBC bias against any positive City achievements.
City's Youth teams have had an amazing list of league titles and 2 FA Youth Cup wins in the last 5 years.
Yet, the BBC have almost ignored this...
