Rags supporters over can see nothing wrong with that horrible man greenwood.so how would dads on here think?
MG is clearly a **** and I sure as shit am not going to fall out with a fellow blue over him but...
I know you're coming from the right sort of place. And you're making a mistake that I used to make myself until the bleeding obvious was poined out to me, so please don't take what I am about to say as finger-wagging admonishment but rather as the friendly advice that it is intended to be.
Just because a man has a daughter/ sister/ girlfriend/ wife... it doesn't give him any sort of special privilege of endorsing women’s rights.
Assaults on women's are not suddenly or somehow more important/ concerning because the men in their lives are laterally affected. (I suspect you didn't mean to imply that was the case but every time a man says, "what if it was your sister/mum/ daughter etc.." that, often with the best will in the word, is exactly what he is doing (and, as Ibsay, I've done it myself in the past, so not judging you)).
In short, women's rights don't need mens' endorsement. The maths are simple: women make up more than half the species. Women's rights are human rights.
Anyway, back on topic: MG is still clearly a **** (worth saying twice).
And don't even get me started on United floating the idea that the final say on his return would somehow be dependent on their women’s team. As disgusting PR stuntans I have ever seen.
What employees have that much leverage over their bosses multi-million pound decisions? The sheer sliminess of letting the women’s team take the burden of public blame (whatever decision is made) is breathtaking.
