I do worry that at some point fairly soon Haaland could be the biggest box office draw in world football.Interesting article about the cult of personality in football in the Guardian, and the depressing idolisation of one of the worst players today, Ronaldo…. thankfully manages not to slag us off at all.
He writes “Odd behaviour is not exactly unknown in press boxes and even in Britain, where cynical neutrality used to be standard, displays of partisanship are becoming worryingly common.”

I read that entirely differently from yourself then, I see no pop at City at all and mentioning the 115 charges is hardly having a pop either, do you expect everyone to just forget about them?Sam Wallace - one of the Utd "journalists" at the Telegraph has a pop at City (and strongly United) for City's City's ground investments and Utd's total lack thereof. Of course he then has a pop at City for the do called "115 charges". No comments allowed on this one apparently.

Absolutely no need to mention it at all in context if the story.I read that entirely differently from yourself then, I see no pop at City at all and mentioning the 115 charges is hardly having a pop either, do you expect everyone to just forget about them?
Never mind Brighton's numbers look at Tottenham's. To have achieved what they have and have those players and still only have the 4th highest net spend is truly amazing. No wonder Levy gets all those plaudits as a tough negotiator.Brighton’s numbers are insane.

He really is a terrible negotiator. People who routinely walk away from reasonable offers are as shit at negotiating as those that habitually fold like a deck of cards.Never mind Brighton's numbers look at Tottenham's. Well played Screamer! Your ability to shoehorn a Smiths/Morrissey reference into every comment is hugely impressive.I had talk shite on yesterday. The 7pm - 10pm show
Two presenters I'd never heard of before.
One of them said Pep is the greatest coach around but pound for pound, Klopp would be the best.
The other one asked him to clarify what he meant.
"Well give Klopp equal training facilities, the same amount of money to spend and a management team above Klopp like Pep has and Klopp would be the best. What Klopp has achieved ON A SHOE STRING is simply remarkable."
The other presented didn't flinch at the shoe string comment as I reached for the Morrissey CD and put it in the car stereo.....
If I do or I don't, what difference does it make?Well played Screamer! Your ability to shoehorn a Smiths/Morrissey reference into every comment is hugely impressive.
