BBC is about as impartial as RAWK. They don't even pretend. All you can do is keep on reporting stuff and hope some of it sticks.
Chilavert of Paraguay used to take free kicks for Paraguay and Velez Sarsfield of Argentina. Scored a few as well.Think it was a Mexican who scored 30 odd goals. All I could find for keepers playing as outfield players was Joe Lewis brought as sub for England u21 (managed by guess who?) against Azerbaijan and barthez in a friendly for rags in a friendly against Singapore XI
Alex Stepney was top scorer for rags one season.Jimmy Glass scored for Carlisle to keep them up with the last kick of the match, he then played up front for a club but I think that was akin to local football level.
TBF, Beanie the Horse was top scorer for us under Pearce.Alex Stepney was top scorer for rags one season.
Rubbish , Dunney scored five own goals that seasonTBF, Beanie the Horse was top scorer for us under Pearce.
I'm fairly sure they count for the opposition, not us :)Rubbish , Dunney scored five own goals that season
He was their top score by xmas with two penaltiesAlex Stepney was top scorer for rags one season.
They protect/promote/act according to their commercial interests. What's wrong with that?BBC is about as impartial as RAWK. They don't even pretend. All you can do is keep on reporting stuff and hope some of it sticks.
The BBC is a - no, the - national broadcaster and is supposed to be impartial, not a fanzine. They protect/promote/act according to their commercial interests. What's wrong with that?
