Have a read about Max Woosnam who played for us, he beat Charlie Chaplin (who was a good Table Tennis player) with a butter knife. Besides the achievements listed he was also a scratch golfer, incredible character who also saw Military Service in the First World War.

I don't believe the current approach has worked and if anything the media's vitriol, misinformation and lies has become much worse.

All it took the Nottingham owner was one threat of legal action against neville, carragher and sky and they immediately shut up and just focused on the football.

I think City have been far too lenient with many journalists and outlets.

Now that the legal case is active City can't really say anything but we missed a great opportunity after we were cleared by CAS. That was the moment we should have been proactive. There was enough content in the panel's statement alone to restore our reputation. But we sat back and allowed the fake news merchants to dominate the agenda.
I believe our overall communications strategy for the past decade has been pathetic. No organisation can afford to be passive in a modern digital media landscape. I believe that had we been aggressive and on the front foot after the CAS decision we might even have deterred the PL leadership from carrying on with their witchunt.

They’ve conveneintly forgotten that they were 4/7 favourites for the league on Easter Sunday after we drew with Arsenal and were top in early April and top for more days than anyone else over the whole season

Once they collapsed they played the - we’re ahead of where we should be - card

As I always said Klopp had an easy job, never got criticised for failure due to the amount of excuses they cry about at that club

They've changed the story to "they overachieved" rather than "best team in the world going for a quad" so fucking fast. The ministry of truth working overdrive in Liverpool.

The latest overlap thing is aimed at rag, arse, dip supporters. What else would you expect with a show consisting of Keane,Wright,Neville and Carragher?

The money is still with those 3 fanbases instead of the team in blue that always wins.

Nit picking at our achievements again. But what about the charges? Everything won is based on disregarding the ffp rules. No mention that a lot were not in place at the time. Asterisk this and asterisk that from wright, bitter fool.

GPC is the best manager but pep is the best league manager. Again, can’t just say that pep has blown down the doors off. Trying to fit Klopp into a 5 man short list.

Anyway, it’s pathetic and unfortunately city as a media organisation have no answer to it. Prime have a new 99 doc out now aswell, 25 years later.

After the charges I would like city to take a much more robust stance with the media in general. We have climbed the mountain and winning the narrative is now more important than ever.
