So the general feeling from the media is that Arsenal got under our skin and it shows we're frightened.

I actually thought they were terrified of us. Played for set pieces (nowt wrong with that per se, but it's a small club mentality).

However. what our media seem to have missed that this was the countries top two teams; one playing for time outs and breaks, while the other passed the ball continuously, searching for an equaliser.

The spoiling tactics are being applauded. Being applauded by people who haven't paid £60+ for a match ticket wanting to be entertained!

A lot of the online media painting Arsenal as victims and Haaland being a ****, I know we look at games most times with blue tinted glasses but the vile tarquin tactics and their fragile egos should have been the main news.

Reality:

Havertz laid one on rodri within 5 seconds.

Partay had no business shoving rodri when the ball was nowhere near. We lost arguably our best player to injury.

Their first goal was taken 10 yards from where the foul occurred and Walker was dragged out of position by the ref and not allowed to go back.

Their second goal saw Martinelli back into Ederson without even looking at the ball.

Doku passed the ball towards where the freekick was and directly to an arsenal player whereas trossard kicked the ball to Failsworth after committing a 2nd yellow card challenge anyway.

Arsenal shithoused all through the second half, over 9 minutes of timewasting by the keeper and included the usual cramp/tactical timeouts.

Just watched what the papers say on sky sports had winter and cross on talking about the game and this so called new rivalry,but both were waxing lyrical about Rodri and how it’s a huge loss not just for City but the premier league..
