Isn't Glendenning the Pervy Sunderland fan ?
Is he hoping that they get the 2014 League Cup, by default ?
He is as smug, arrogant and jealous as the rest of the Guardian Gang.
Shame he looks like fat Eddie out of "Early Doors"...

dick pick Glendinning, he has a nerve talking about justice
Oh? I haven't heard anything about that before.

I really need to get out more.

I was expecting loads of navel gazing opinion pieces in the media today, predicting the death of football.
After all, Jurgen klopp, the big hearted man of the people, working class hero, anti-corporate trail blazer, spouter of "this means more" Scouse spoofery, champion of "doing it right", has taken the sugar-coated pay check, from a multi-club, financially doped, no history, billionaire's plaything.

Where are Miguel Delaney, Eamon Sweeny, Henry winter, Dan Roan, Barney Ronay? Nothing to say lads? Hypocrisy, filthy money corrupting the game, a nothing franchise trying to buy prestige? Anyone anything to say?

You wouldn't waste time before knocking City for similar. What does it mean when Jurgen goes to work for Red Bull, so soon after the adoration of Anfield? The totemic figurehead of all that's good about football, the purveyor of real passion, the symbol of a City, it's people, club and culture. He heads up a sugary drink owned, recently formed, football conglomerate. Does it mean more? Let's hear from ye lads.
To quote the great Bingo himself "A bad day for football "

Think it’s time we all realised that a persons opinion is not worth reading or listening to unless they have educated themselves on the core issues.

You can’t fight back against the media and football zombie horde. Instead, equip yourself with knowledge and decide when you want to get involved.

It has gone too far now that common ground does not exist.
Very true.
I always say never argue with an idiot as they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I’ve kind of lost a lot of interest in cricket over the years, having previously followed it very keenly.

But having my interest perked a little by England’s record breaking antics in Pakistan, I’ve been reading a fair few articles over the last couple of days.

The one thing that stands out is how cricket journalism is of such a higher quality than anything the top football journalists can muster up between them. It’s like comparing a Picasso with a special needs kid’s crayon scribblings.

I’m not even getting into bias, agendas and all that stuff. Just the general standard of journalism.

With most of the stuff you read on football these days, it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s come from a national newspaper’s top football guy, or some pissed up Twitter knobhead with a ‘bantz’ account.

Unfortunately, lots of Welsh "football fans" follow the red-neck teams...
Whilst this is true, (I've lived just outside cardiff for close on 40years now) the younger generation are almost all city thesedays. The kids of probably 15 and under are following us in big numbers. There are our shirts all over t south wales now 99% of them with haaland on the back.... even saw a few in amsterdam last week for my 50th birthday. We've gotta be the fastest growing fanbase around surely
