At the end of Chelsea's match report tonight on the BBC is this quite bizarre paragraph.

"In fact, a report from the Transferroom website suggested that Chelsea's squad, valued at £1.1bn, is worth as much as the Conference League's other 35 team combined.

They are, therefore, strong favourites to claim glory in Europe this season. That estimated squad value is nothing for the Blues to be ashamed of - but merely highlights how European football is changing with England's top flight dominant, especially when facing teams from outside the continent's big five leagues."

I look forward to the same friendly editorial leanings when we next play a "minnow".
Note zero mention of money when billion pound rags played Barnsley and Fc twenty recently ( twenty spend was 9 million over 5 years but sold more than that). Last night bringing on 85 million Anthony, 80 million Slabhead, 40 million zippy or what ever his name is, v a poor Porto team who make profits through sales each year

Broadcasters in talks to introduce Mid Game interviews with players from next season? Wtf. They really tryna ruin the game
It’s a PL idea and one I’m sure has American clubs behind it, although they claim to oppose the idea. It’s already been trialed during the Bournemouth game, when Tavanier was interviewed after being subbed off

It's bad enough with all the replays of trivial incidents while the game is still in play without this adding to it. They are making the game unwatchable.

Probably worth staying off the BBC football page this morning as man utd mouthpiece and mouth breather simon stone is taking questions.

We're only two questions in and we've already been told how great ferguson was, how managing man utd is a "hard job for anyone" and how the procesh can be derailed with injuries to the likes of yoro (and then failing to mention that they spent 45 million on a replacement for injured yoro 24 days later).

Stealing a living from the taxpayer.

Yeah Ferguson had it hard with outspending other teams by huge amounts every season, taking any challengers key players not to mention the fact he had PGMOL in his pocket with corrupt officiating helping them.
They won the majority of their titles because of PGMOL, we won ours despite PGMOL.
We all know Slimy Stone is the Rags mouthpiece, only question that needs a Q&A is how the fuck do we still allow him in our ground.

A comment last night Anthony when sub on was worth more than Porto team but it was only whispered so no one would hear it

And it’s not going to get any better. We already have 10 American owned clubs. It could only take a further two to totally change the landscape of the PL. more breaks to attract further advertisers
