Exactly, current capacity is reduced to 53400 . Therefore they must be equating the average crowd based on their maths 55000 - 2228 = 52772 or 628 empties or a whopping 1.25 % .

What a load of bitter bollocks. The figures for last season are here. City are above Liverpool for starters. The Star also omit the fact that the away sections also have to be full to avoid any empty seats.
