I regard myself as truly lucky to have had so many happy years watching and witnessing so much enjoyment and affection.
First game at Maine Road watching Bert in goal in 1954, and immediately hooked.
It was less tribal then and was able to see both City and United on alternative weeks, thanks to the generosity of a friend's dad. He supported United but loved watching football and was kind enough to include me.
I watched the Bell Lee Summerbee era when I discovered my first real footballing hero.
Unfortunately by this time the rag love-in with all the hangers on was more evident following the 1958 disaster.
building up to nauseating levels, and the media sycophantic levels cranked right up.
And since the Sheik blessed us all with his purchase, it has been a fantastic upward trajectory, with some fantastic players and performances. KDB is an absolute favourite with fantastic performances which sadly are coming to an end, but still somebody to behold.
And to be honest, even in the lulls I have always been in love with the club, lock stock and barrel. And as a real bonus I have been able to watch my two sons become part of the City family.
And right now we all await the outcome of the vicious and unjustified attack by the PL driven by the greedy and arrogant yank-owned **** clubs, desperate to see City removed from the competition because we are too professional and organised, due to superb management.
Frustrating to have to wait for the outcome, but in view of all of the above, whatever the outcome nothing can take away the fantastic experience and affection.
Fuck Masters, cabal and UK Media whores , we are bigger than all of you.
