Mitchell and Webb was actually criminally underrated. They were so adept at conceiving, writing and performing the comically bizarre.

Like the BBC’s coverage of Kath’s funeral!

Along with "A BIt of Fry and Laurie", one of the few sketch shows I can regularly rewatch. They seemed to be their natural heirs to that particular throne. Or unashamed rip-offs as your generosity may decide.

I especially like David Mitchell who like me punches well above his weight with the opposite sex :-)
