wtf is this on Bbc one? A nauseating hour on the working class story of Alex Ferguson that ive seen a million times before with all the old boys trotted out to tell stories.

Feeding member berries to the nostalgic United fans is a whole fucking industry now. Class of 92, Siralex documentaries, the ‘premier league’ documentary from a few years ago which ended up about man united for 80% of it, the overlap podcast, butty and scholesy telling stories on their podcast, the whole of TNT Sports coverage, Sky Sports post match united analysis with Keano and Nevs

it never fucking ends!
It’s saturation coverage and convinces young impressionable kids that they are still a big club and even more so still relevant and challenging for trophies..
Here’s an example had Sky Sports news on the paper talk with winter and ladyman, rightly talked about Newcastle and arsenal, then covered the musk Liverpool buy out nonsense, waxed lyrical over mainoo and him being up for sale, going to a break we will talk more transfers including Man City interest in the Egyptian player.Ad break straight onto the fantastic rashford and how it will be good for him to go on loan to one of the giants of Europe chasing him, wants to get back in England side then that was it no talking about City transfer rumours..all catering to rag and red scousers..

I believe we are only being shown live on Saturday because of the class of 92 connection. The BBC cannot help themselves

Bar 2 all 4th tier and below are on telly and the City game isn't the least interesting pick so I wouldn't blame the BBC on this occasion.

You can say the only reason Liverpool are being shown is due to the Milk Marketing Board, and John Coleman was nailed on for the studio until he got the Gills job this week.

This thread is going to get a shot in the arm when the verdict comes out, irrespective of the outcome!
Shot in the arm is a bit 1985-95 (as in common use), and having been though hospital trauma in those days even though I understand the meaning but I never thought it a good thing and associated it with more pain. But not as painful as a morphine injection in the buttock in the 80s.

I am hoping for a hospital discharge and feeling dizzy when I go down the stairs :) The main thing for me is that it isn't boring, and in the worst case scenario we will get cheaper tickets.

Couldn’t agree more.

I stayed at several Marriott properties the past few weeks on our family holiday to Istanbul and Rome. Every time you turn on your tv, it's on the Marriott channel as a default, and guess who they sponsor? So, you are treated to promotional pieces featuring various squad members of the 14th place team in the Premier League: Fernandes, Maguire, even De Gea was still on there! Nauseating.
