Not really media but not worth starting a new thread for - just watching the golf & the commentators put football commentators to shame. They explain every stroke & don’t think there’s anything wrong with keeping quiet. They certainly don’t jabber on continually about stats & what happened 20 years ago.

Football commentators are really poor

Same with the cricket. Puts football to shame.

The 3 main detractors namely the scouse the rags and the tarquins are all owned by the yanks, we have allowed our game to go to the highest bidder just by subscribing to SKY and ot allowing these villains to infest our game with the promises of success and prestige.

All the while this bunch are killing our game, all for profit with no thought for the traditional fan. Push back stop buying the shit they are offering and stop the rot.

However when the rotten 3 have a plastic fan base they don't care about the cultural significance of football in this country the tiktok and youtube cunts.

I don't watch tennis ( only sports I like are footy and rugby league). However was sat with a poorly relative in summer and it was a,pleasure to keep them company. They are avid tennis fans, so we watched and it was so refreshing to listen to knowledgeable, non biased commentary. I've started to like Katie Boulter as a result ( can't abide Raducanu). Listening/ watching the WSL game v Chavs last night the bias towards them was off the scale.

Does anyone, anywhere in an English speaking commentary team give City any credit for achievements and an unbiased opinion?
The headline in the ToryGraph this morning mention the word 'sink'. I didn't read the report but I expect there were references to the Scharnhorst, the Gneisnau, the Tirpitz 'n the Bismarck. Normally we wouldn't get a report on the women but as we lost . . . . . . . .!

Pity we haven’t got AI bots to do the commentary be a lot more interesting or just the noise of the fans would do me.

I get the hatred for Sky, I really do. Their sychophantic behaviour to the cartel clubs and in particular the scum is sickening to the extreme. Their treatment of City is based on their loyalty to the clubs that made their business model a success and why they continue to pump billions into the premier league.

I understand why a number of Bluemoon posters mean well by telling others not to pay the subscription fee and I agree with them if it was based solely on their broadcasting bias towards the red clubs and obvious hatred of us, but and it’s a big but, without Sky TV, we would not be the the world’s most successful club of the past decade.

If Sky TV did not pump billions of pounds into the Premier League then Sheikh Mansour would never have been near us.

There would have never been the Aguero moment, we would never have had The Centurions, The Fourmidables, The only domestic treble winning team in the history of English Football, The only true Treble winning team in the history of English football, the first football team to win four top division titles in a row. The title winning comeback against Villa. The Gerard slip against Chelsea. Vincent Kompany’s goal gains Leicester in our 14 wins in a row to beat Liverpool by one point.

Every one of those is a memory implanted in our brains that will bring a positive emotional response in all of us that would never exist if Sky didn’t pump billions into the Premier League.

I’d imagine that Sheikh Mansour is now a massive Man City fan along with Khaldoon but I don’t believe they were in 2008. They saw a business opportunity in the returns that the Premier league could provide and unlike the Yanks they came with a plan to build the best team in the world and with it the rewards.

Sky TV indirectly made us the best team in the world. Our problem with Sky is that Sky don’t realise that yet.

I pay my Sky subscription without shame. It’s their money that brings the best players to the Premier League. It’s their money that brought Sheikh Mansour, Aguero, Yaya, David Silva, Zabba, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Balon d’or winner Rodri, Erling Haaland, countless other players and the greatest manager in the modern game Pep Guardiola to our club.

I will probably get a loaded fire stick one day and stop paying for Sky but when we all do that, where is the money coming from to keep the Premier League as the best league in the world?

Fuck ‘em!

My hope is that there will be an interactive button, like Amazon Prime had a couple of years ago, whereby you could select the in Stadium option.

No commentary just the game. At half time no pundits just a view of the pitch like being there. But just to watch the match with no commentary only the sound of the fans in the ground, fanatstic.

Just asking do you listen on a radio for games that are not on tv and you can't attend. The fact you can watch every game on a firestick is a massive reason there popular. In the uk Even paying for Sky,Tnt, amazon etc you don't get every City game.

Totally different

Agree totally. Tennis commentators also good to hear.
Love Boulter. Radacanu has ability but no work ethic. Prefers attending red carpet events &, of course, knows better than all her coaches.
In my world Radu is what's known as a 'brat'. She fluked that US open win, and has the audacity to say that Andy Murray was old news!!
