Talkshite are asking City fans to call in and discuss if they are in crisis, 223344 ask for jim

Agree with you entirely. I am saddened that the Evening News continually stick the boot into our club. Years and years ago I would read the balanced articles by Peter Gardner and David Meek about their respective clubs. Journalism today has died out and is simply regurgitating stuff and nonsense in an effort to get as many clicks as possible - and to encourage more hatred towards us from other clubs.
I think the MEN know that they've lost the vast majority of City fans and have now ceased to care if they upset us in the hope it attracts more united fans to their red fanzine.
Plus don't forget that the MEN is stablemates with Dipper Echo and the City hating Daily Mirror.

Just a thought, but maybe it's a ploy to get HRH to buy it.

Maybe it’s time to challenge all those in the media who claimed football was over/dull/doped because City ‘have more money’, ‘it’s not fair’ etc. Many of those journalists who are now sticking the boot in because City have bad results are the same who claim it’s unfair when we manage an extraordinary achievement like 4 titles in a row.

Instead of sticking the boot in when we found major success they should’ve applauded our brilliance.

I’ve written a few words on it:

it’s just noise to sell their papers, TV stations or whatever. As with the moments of success a pragmatic view is needed.

Iv long gone past caring what they think of OUR club.

None of them run a successful football club. They comment on others. No different than the twats who live stream games.

Bought and paid for opinions are only relevant to the people who paid for such a service, namely Rag, dip and arsehole.

The BBfuckingC are at it again.

Apparently Alverez is on fire and Pep fucked up by selling him.

They don't explain how you keep a World Cup Winner if he states he wants to leave.
I suppose you could simply refuse him a transfer although that tends to make players 'sulk' so not really a sensible solution.

The mistake was not getting a replacement but these lazy shite journalists can't be arsed doing a proper article.

It's all very odd. Press seem irate at the lack of call to action.

We all know what they want. They want City fans to call for the manager to be sacked but that's never going to happen. So we all grumble, shrug our shoulders and carry on.

Very much this. They just need one soundbite from someone. Don't give them the ammo. If you're still listening to TalkSport these days, why????

It's getting beyond a joke with the UK media in general now. Is there actually any governing body at all anymore? This headline is misleading at best, absolute lies at worst when you read the actual details it's capture from.

Sportbible, then uses that headline and tags their own obligatory bit on about...yes you guessed it

It's just the series of results that allow the pantomime publications that couldn't be further from objective journalism if they tried and gets them into overdrive. The Telegraph sports pages? We're on Pages 1-3, but only 'cos we lost. The rugby, cricket, darts 'n tiddlywinks would have been further up the billing had we turned 'em over or even got a draw. They headline with Old Lady 2 Old Men 0. Well, we won't be reading the ToryGraph for much longer unless you subscribe to the digital version. Bastards.

The font of football Joe Cole, he would have been on the phone to his agent agitating for move if he got an STI from what ever FHM model he was banging in the 2000s.

Keeley Hazell Is the one I remember.
Think Cole got filled in off her jealous boyfriend for being asleep pissed up on her couch

With three central defenders out in Akanji (who was going to be replacing Rodri in the middle but the absentees at the back has placed him there when available), Ake and Stones, with the centre midfielders out (Rodri and Kovacic), with Kevin de Bruyne back but currently a tentative shadow of what he has been and what he is capable of (but still the only one that does things that are unexpected and different), with Foden out of form and struggling with a virus, with between seven and ten players unavailable, it is impossible to create associations between players, consistency in performances, a solid foundation. Players that have in the past returned from injury, like Stones, Akanji and Ake, have broken down just a couple of games after they returned as they have to be rushed to come back.Pep can drive himself mad trying to fix it but it is a case of not having the players. The ones that are not injured are also suffering physically from playing too often, and consequently losing form. Gundogan, Bernardo Silva are not winning balls that they normally would expect to, but in any case they are not holding midfielders. All that accounts as an accumulation of circumstances that have not occurred in the club in the past eight years, which by the way, it is why throughout that time they have won what we have.It is exactly the opposite of a virtuous circle. The negative circle, this isThe hope is that they can hang on in there until January, get the players they need back and that they manage to stay fit. But it very much feels like a turning point in Pep’s time at the club, and it is obvious there is a need to recycle a squad to fill it with players that are hungry, younger, willing to learn, and with the mind open for the demanding Pep world.

Yet more lies. Dias saying himself and the team needs to improve becomes Dias points finger at team mates. Knowing that most people will never actually read the story, just take away the negative headline. This is from their Chief Football Writer too, shows you the agenda starts at the top

Old Lady 2 Old Men 0.

That's painfully accurate if unnecessarily cruel

Actually nailed it there Balague

No less that four articles on City at the BeeB….dont think I’ve ever seen us reported so much….wonder why
The media have spent 10 years calling us cheats. Now they have another stick to beat us with. Us fans need to stick together. The siege mentality has worked for us in the past.
