Liverpool were in a position where they would still win the title if they lost by a single goal. They went 1-0 down and sat back prepared to defend a 1-0 defeat but Arsenal scored a second and won the title. On the night it was Liverpool that bottled it IMO.

I would add that that match remains my favourite match ever that didn't involve City.

Everything that he's says he's not good at, he's actually exemplary at. City's play targets Haaland. He isn't a Kane or a deep-lying striker, he's a centre-forward who does his work in the hardest area of the pitch to function. It is a big departure from old City teams but it works because he is such an outstanding goal scorer. City fans should stop thinking about what he doesn't do, and consider the art of goal scoring. He's the best goalscorer to have ever played in the Premier League and historically there are only 2 players in the history of football who can rival him. To be that player, he needs to be agile, explosive, to be able to read the game, to be fast, possess an excellent first touch etc
