And rightly so. We’ve committed the cardinal sin in football transfers in that we’ve made ourselves weaker and a rival much stronger. Without him, Chelsea are nowhere near top 4 and, I suspect, if we’d kept him, we’d be somewhat closer to the top.
From a passing perspective, he’s the closest thing I’ve seen to KDB and we let him leave..
He wanted to leave , Pep and the club won't stand in their way and force them to stay

Hindsight is a marvellous thing. Nobody could forsee the current injury crisis and huge drop off in form from our key players. At the time he left he wasn't getting into our midfield or on either wing. I do agree though he showed decent potential and should have gone on loan. I guess the progress of Bobb and the fee made it seem like a good deal at the time.

Was a nice piece tbf.

the scouse **** on after and the lass suggesting the quadruple for them was more irritating

Yes so far we've had Palmer, then that redman knob, an interview with de Light and now we're on women's football. No wonder I rarely watch this shit. I'm sure in the champions league spot coming up they'll put the boot into us.

He's knowhere near Kevs level, as you said he keeps chelsea going, doesn't mean he would here or at another club, football doesn't work that way unless you are at levels like Kev, palmer is not by a long way

I suppose so. It didn't seem to matter so much last season but it certainly does now. It will cost us at least twice what we got off Chelsea to buy someone of his class now and we certainly need too make that purchase soon.

Good to see the Cole Palmer debate has started early ! After the game he will still be a Chelsea player and an ex City player can we just move on please ! We have just bought 3 players who seem to want to be here, can't we get excited about that instead of rehashing what might have been?

Tim Sherwood given the platform to mention 115 when discussing Jan transfers.Muppet Merson pipes up about possible transfer embargo incoming,Sherwood ends with City make their own rules!!Utter thick cunts…need a talking to!

City should hammer them for that.

But they don't seem to care, they think it's all just noise.

However it feeds into the constant drip drip that City are cheats or they get away with it.

Edit: apparently they've just apologised. Well done City.
