Apart from the obvious shit headline which he may not be the guilty party in that, I have to say that I found nothing derogatory or upsetting for me in his writing of the trip etc.
Guess its down to how thick or thin some peoples skin is Jim.

I don't have access to their listening figures, unfortunately. As for them promoting the forum; is that their job? If it is, fair enough. I hadn't heard that. I'm assuming @Ric is okay with them using the name, otherwise he'd have got them to change it?

Yes the headline is clearly designed to appease the masses. And if it turns out that he is responsible for it (as opposed to his editor), I'm surprised at him.

PS. Like you, I remember the days when an article and a newspaper would be used to wrap up fish and chips the next day.

Herbert’s previous article and attack on City, before his latest article and attack on City, stayed at the top of the Daily United Football page for over a week.

I did add a few comments during that week. ;-)

Spot on, not sure Gaughan has said anything wrong. It was an embarrassing, shamboic performance and the club needs to shape up if we're to win the league next season.

He's a posh southern boy who did a degree, started work at the fail and got given the City reporting job a few years ago. Not a Blue, but not the worst out there by any means.

He gave the above credentials on a bm podcast I listened to maybe a year or so ago. Certainly far more palatable than Sam 'let's be havin' you' rag Lee.

We all make mistakes mate. Feel like if you're asking for prominent positions on this forum and using the brand that you didn't help build then maybe you could do a bit of cross promotion. Maybe they pay Ric a fortune? I mean, they don't and I'm being polite.

There are several podcasts of Bluemoon regular posters that aren't trying to be journalists or influencers or make themselves a media career or what have you who actually post here and talk about this place. All the way up to daily subscription stuff to some middle aged lads trying their best and wanting to find an audience.

Compared to some of the more popular podcasts ( the Guardian is a particular shitshow), I don't mind them. It passes an hour on a thursday.

Sure, but it's more about how exactly we're "partnered". And I have strong opinions on that. I'm sure it's a perfectly good show. But if you fancy a free sub to 9320 then I'm sure as a fellow mod I can ask @BillyShears to do me a favour and sort it out. Daily content that mate.
