Changed his title because it probably dawned he's not a football writer but merely an an apologist for their failures. In his latest piece he's still believes in 'the weight of the shirt' as an explanation for the failure of signings rather than they were bang average players

Excellent. Their collective refusal to face up to their faults, led by sycophantic media, only perpetuates their shitness. The fucking red bastards.

Is this a new job title for Stone or was it always this?

I’ve complained again to BBC asking if every PL club have their own reporter & if not, why not. If so - asked for names of each clubs’ dedicated reporter in view of the fact I pay my licence fee & want clarification on how it’s spent.

Do the fans group have links to other clubs’ fans groups? Can’t we get them all to complain as a group?

It’s really pissing me off that rags have a dedicated reporter WHY???

He was even at Leigh Sports Village reporting on united Women yesterday, and described as 'Chief Football Writer'. BBC Football is a fucking disgrace.
It is, I'd love to hear why their football page currently has 3 stories about owen v rooney on it, 2 of the dullest people in the media, and there's plenty of competition there.

Guessing.

Because

When BBC United went grovelling back to Ferguson and United, United told BBC United, Ferguson would speak to BBC United again under United’s terms, which would have been, amongst other things, continued preferential treatment over all other PL clubs, and a dedicated journalist writing as much PR bullsh*t as he could about United, namely, Sly Stone.

And Ella Toone, she gets more than her fair share of BBC coverage.
Amazed how this very average footballer gets so much media coverage, not just with the BBC.
Another example of how playing for the Trafford Tramps, gets you preferential, even a revered level of coverage and publicity.
Tom Cleverley even got an England cap, due to him playing for those gonks...

When they fob you off, raise the differences between Stone & Hafez's X accounts.

They both describe themselves as "football reporter for BBC Sport, but Stone perpetually posts about united and their reserves etc, while Hafez's account is protected and you can't even follow it without your request being approved.

Had to crowbar the 115 in. Away bless em.

Apparently nothing to do with it.

Love the way the Guardian headline is that "Man City accept the Premier League sponsorship rules are valid', as if we just capitulated and accepted the PL were right all along....that's not what happened.
Also they refer to the fact that: "City "claimed "victory in an initial battle over APT in October, after an arbitration panel found that "certain aspects" of the rules which then stood were "discriminatory"". Minimizing our result.

They never mention that City established that the APT rules were, and I quote: "unlawful, unlawful, unlawful, unfair, unfair, unfair, unreasonable, unreasonable" under 8 different headings.

Can he play right back?

Probably not far off the mark here -as SAF has remained a big presence at the Sty until Scruffy Jim basically sacked him
