Media discussion - 2025/26

No bud, I think you’re using rose-tinted’s there. It was equally awful in the days of Brian Woolnough who though himself was an often affable lead for the show surrounded himself by the likes of Barclay, Draper, Wallace, Richardson, Ladyman, Dunn, McIlvaney, Beasley (plus the infamous Spurs journalist whose name I forget - Smith maybe his name was) and the rest of a cast who largely displayed a complete lack of integrity in their dismissive comments about our club and their love-in with all things red.
Plus the Custis brothers.

Edit. The one area I do recall they used to have decent discussion and insight on was the travails of the national team though!
To be fair, I was talking about the early, early days, under Jimmy Hill from his ‘kitchen’ ;-)

Plus the Cuntis brothers.
Fixed that for you mate ;)

Speaking of which, and I know I’ve mentioned this before on here, my mate was in the Fletcher Moss pub in Didsbury one night some years back when one of the Cuntis brothers - think it might’ve been Neil - had a pint thrown over him. He tells me that the queue to do the deed was longer than the queue at the bar!

He's always in there.

Not sure how anybody would think the Sunday Supplement used to be better years ago.

It used to have an established schedule where the likes of Beasley Smith Barclay etc would spit out garbage about City every week. Never any balance - just pure poison. This was long before the click bait rules of today.

It’s not worth watching now - as the second rate journos on it now are the ones that still have jobs because they toe the click bait rules.

Had a bit of 5 Live on last night and it was a bit on the drive home.....Savage & I think Sutton.....only 2 City players would get into a joint City/Arse 11, The Don & Haaland.....back to my music playlists.
We were going back down to the Midlands when we started this tosh! It sounded like a slow show so some producer cooked up a stupid good cop bad cop routine to get callers on the phone. I got the very distinct impression they were speaking from a script and didn't believe what they were saying themselves. All we want is clear, honest opinions and some interesting callers. Shouldn't be hard.

He's in there every afternoon with his dog.

I only half listened to his comments, wasn't he talking in general about all shite decisions against us?

As for talkragshite, I'm really more surprised you're tuned into it than them being cartel loving cunts.
I turned the fucker off. Jim Shyte in full wum mode accusing fans of giving arsenal no credit for 'defending their way to a title'.
