Media Neglecting Us?

its really been like this for the majority of the season.....yes there was focus around the quadruple and over hyping it....and the goals which were going on...but nothing much really

its a fact...united and liverpool will get more hits given their "fan" base....and city can only go up

Like has been said, it's been like that all season with the odd bit of crap thrown our way, but all in all we have largely been ignored, I think at the start of the season they only had eyes for "The Chosen One" and the new dynasty he was building over at the swamp, then it was Arsenal who were leading the way until their annual collapse and lets not forget The Not so Special One, then Liverpool started their run of form, I just think they thought we were largely irrelevant this year

I must admit it's been quite good being under the spotlight, and just hovering around the top, if we go on to win it we will cause some tears to be shed

If they don't write about us, we're being neglected. If they do write about us, it's the ''agenda''™. I guess the media can't win. Oh, by the way;

Because city has been boring lately, no training ground bust up, the best they come up with is a random drug test. (if not this they'll just write random article as an excuse to use pic of nasri with pants off)

Lol can you imagine how the writer cream his pants seeing those officers turned up in training?

Doping, doping of love maybe

The manager gives nothing away.

The club give nothing away.

The papers have nothing to print.

Of course I'm a city fan but I genuinely do this this is the case.

If we do win the league, how long will we have spent in first place? We were top after the opening game, for a week. Since then? I can vaguely remember us being top briefly, for a few hours or a day, when we had an early kick off. Have we actually been in first place after the weekend's fixtures since that first week?

The media usually give much more attention to the 1st placed team rather than the one in 3rd. Its just more of a story. And with United's demise also hogging the headlines its not that surprising that we've stayed under the radar.

I suppose they are neglecting us nowadays as owd poker faced Pellers gives very little away. He keeps it straight and simple to the media in his dour monotone voice and doesn't exude much charisma to the press. Suits me fine really, but more importantly it suits the club, as we have had enough controversy over the years. Pellers is a clever man that is wary of loaded questions unlike Mancini who was very naïve when he first came to the club.

I want to read about City on the back pages for the right reasons, not read about our manager scuffling with Balotelli. The long lens paparazzi on step ladders have long since fucked off elsewhere from Carrington as there is little chance of Pellegrini chinning Vinny and co on the training pitch!

Holistic means boring to the media I should think.
