Media persecution of Raheem Sterling

I came on because I found it interesting, the same people who couldn’t get enough of sterling on Saturday are the same ones slating rashford last night. Weird logic. Despite rashford actually contributing something worthwhile.
You’re like a broken record

BBC at it now... since when have stats on ''Big Chances missed'' been reported?
Surely when you look at how many goals Sterling has scored and ''missed'' compared to Arise Sir Marcus - it means he has been in 30 positions to score, compare to Rashford's 10.
Seriously, he has one decent game against a shite Costa Rica and he is ''world class'' again.

Raheem Sterling Man City 2592 18 11 12
Marcus Rashford Man Utd 1807 7 5 3

With regards to the football league following England fans, this is why we need a better Sterling chant than top of the league, they are lazy and they are very easily led. Alot of them aren't even watching the game and are more concerned with joining in the songs, waving at each other, getting drunk and throwing paper planes about.

Top of the league is not something that has a chance of catching on with the neutrals who have also had enough of the singling out of Sterling. He might not think he needs it but if he heard his own song being sang in a good spell instead of the moronic boos he might just start looking more like he does in a City shirt. Not that he's been bad for England but he's just got to leave them with no other choice than to give him his dues.
We do, but for some reasons it’s not sung

Strangely untroubled by Southgates choices, if he picks RS I cannot see him changing his need for many chances to score just one so he will be a resident scapegoat.
If not picked I wonder who they will blame for our usual exit.

The problem is that his all round game benefits England so much but as a striker he does not impress.

But that just screams out to me that rashfords goals and assists are crap compared to a winger

Correct, and as a striker, if he has ''only'' scored 7 and missed 3 big chances, then he doesn't often find himself, or get into scoring opportunities. I would rather have a player that scores more, sets up more and misses more than someone who scores less, sets up less and misses less.
