Thing is Rashford can be dogshit and score a goal and he be classed as a world class player to be. sterling can have an 7/10 game be a team player and be classed as being poor and doing nowt. Rashford has a shot nearly every time he gets the ball he ain’t a team player he is a me player sometimes me players can make the difference against better sides but it shouldn’t be a Rashford or Sterling debate they are totally different players.

For once I have to say that camel gob got it right on BBC tonight when he said that Sterling has to be given the nod in Monday after the season he had with the (quote) 'record breaking champions'. It must have stuck in his throat to say that.
Sterling is quite rightly by most of the media I hear being built up as England’s best player. Yes I know people will think that’s so they can knock him down but the reality is he is our most crucial player and for me could be on the brink of something special. It’s the perfect stage now for him to show what he can do.

I can't stand listening to tv pundits but from their point of view, Raheem has a piss poor goal scoring record with England and if he's going to play as the 2nd most forward player after Kane he needs to score a few. Just checked 2 goals in 38 games for England, if he had those stats for City BM would explode.

Hope if he gets the same chances he has had in the last games he will score and give that confidence and belief he can do it on a World Cup stage
The problem for Raheem in the national side is that he hasn’t the teammates with the same speed of thought and turn of pace on the break to finish his great approach play, or to set up a tap-in for him that he has at City.
There was a great example of this during the recent friendly against Nigeria. Raz made a great break down the inside-left channel, reached the bye-line and crossed the ball into the box because it was the only thing he could do, as he was being crowded out by defenders.
However, there was no one in the penalty area to capitalise on the chance that Raheem had created and all we heard from the so-called experts that "Sterling has no end-product" or words to that effect.
I am desperate for Raz to have a great World Cup, but even if he does, it still won’t be good enough for the wankers in the media.

Most of the England games I see that Raz has played in he puts in some superb crosses but there is no one with the pace or for thought to get on the end of them . So it looks a wasted ball

He's just going to have to learn how to handle the pressure or he'll be replaced for City and england. harsh, but it is the way it is.
