My point is,just to offer some balance,is that a white lad has also been the subject of a dirty tricks/smear campaign by the media.

I agree,there is a justification for the dislike but then Liverpool supporters also believe similar where Sterling is concerned.Unfortunately many of those same supporters are members of the media and,as we have witnessed,are in a position to Nationally promote their agenda and make the kids life very difficult.

We think Wheelchair is a **** because he did that. Liverpool supporters think Sterling is a **** because they're stuck in the 80s. As far as I know we've never threatened Wheelchairs kids and our fanbase wouldn't find it acceptable if any of us did. You were trying to compare the two.

The main reason nobody in Ireland wants England to win this world cup is your media and their treatment of Sterling is the prime example of that. Don't mind the Liverpool supporters at the friendly a couple of years back, if any paper or reporter treated any of our players like that they'd be out of business and on the street begging.
