Thanks for the compliment :-).

Sort of covered it in my response to Deano. I am sure you will agree with my reasoning.

You really didn't. Our achievement was bigger but it got fuck all press.

The compliment was genuine. Never agree with you on this subject, but at least you're consistent.

It was mentioned as you say, but you are also ignoring that it was not the lead story on any site and in many cases it was the 4/5 story down, and as already stated nearly every paper focused on Salah whilst briefly mentioning in their City write up that we had also got 100 points whilst listing some of the other records broken.

We all know if it was certain other clubs it would of been the lead story everywhere whilst there would of been multiple back pages in the written press devoted to said teams. Call it what you wish, but there is and definitely was yesterday a clear and concerted effort by most british sites/press to play down our many achievements this season and those many achievements certainly did not get the attention they deserve.

Think about it, the first team to get 100 points, only 14 points dropped all season, that alone should of been the lead story everywhere.
And anyone that says our media are not biased is either blind or stupid , as you say without a doubt if that was the rags , grievers , spurs or arselona wed never hear the last of it and there would be 12 page specials highlighting every record , documentaries made , ex players analysing their achievements

Yes I agree our achievement was bigger but playing devils advocate its been an achievement based over 38 games which we have received continual plaudits for and plenty of coverage over the last month or so.

The Pool and Chelsea games were really the only match contested which would decide something of note.

Receiving more praise would have been great and arguably it did deserve more attention but it was not to be and rightly or wrongly the media thought Pool/salah/champs lge in tandem was more newsworthy to there readers. Its been discussed before but until we get a global fanbase to match Uniteds/Pool our coverage will probably always fall short. Its not to say we cannot enjoy what is written and not believe as its three stories down its press collusion to downplay our success like some think.

That is not bias though its a commercial decision. Bizarre why you think independent companies with shareholders motivated by profit should give City parity in the amount of coverage we receive.

No one has played it down and it has been referenced in pretty much every article about the game.

The press have been praising the football we play all season and have usually been referencing the style of play at old trafford as a direct comparison. Hardly anti-City pro-united bias.

By that logic, the BBC should; but they palpably don’t.

No they dont and neither should they.

Do all football clubs get equal coverage to City? Everton, Leeds, Villa, Cardiff etc etc. It only seems an issue when were not getting the same extent of coverage as others but no one is screaming bias when it works the other way.

Also if the BBC was to be completely equal should lacrosse, ten pin bowls , synchronised swimming receive the same coverage as football? Rural Norfolk receive as much coverage as London/Manchester?

Of course not. The BBC like all websites is governed by popularity that is why football typically dominates the sports coverage not crown green bowling. Certainly not unique to City.

See my post above. Do you actually think the BBC gives parity to all topics?

Its governed by popularity like all other websites.

If you genuinely believe everything should be equal do you believe this for everyone or just City in comparison to United/Liverpool etc?

Should crown green bowling get as much coverage as football? Luton town as much coverage as City? Ashton under Lyne as much coverage as London?

Its an absurd notion. The BBC bases its overall output, like all others on the interest in the subject and it may hurt but the likes of Pool/Utd may still be ahead of us.
