I'm only worried about two things tbh, fatigue/injuries & referees.

The only 'typical City', is how easy it is to concede a pen in a big game compared to the difficulty of 'winning' one.

Perhaps you are right and I worry without need.

Yes, the rule book does seem to be very flexible where City action is concerned but if we score enough goals from the many chances we continue to generate then biased decisions may be irelevant.

Just to put your mind at ease, this Sunday's ref denied us 4 in the two 'big games' when he was at the controls last season, 2 at Leicester and 2 against Liverpool. And of course he gave a soft one to Liverpool.

Great read. The guy's nailed it.
It's funny how all the seemingly strange things Pep said after defeats and poor performances last year, now read like great prophesies: loving John Stones for having 'big cajohnas' and big personality after a display when critics were writing him off; claiming City were the 'number one' team in the country after a loss; and many others. I always thought Pep was a flawed genius, I now think there is no flaw - he is the football messiah. I have total faith in this fella... and, if we should get beat on Sunday (a very big 'if'), I'll be hanging on his every word ;-)

Having suffered every insult from rival fans for longer than most City supporters I think most of my contempories would actually agree with Mr Keane.
There is always that doubt or worry about which City team would turn up with us fans being the only consistently reliable part of our great Club.

Owners come and go as do players and managers however I am really impressed with the current owner and his way of employing ADUG to run City as though it was part of of his existing investment portfolio but even they must have wondered about last seasons stuttering progress.

My personal concern is that the ´´City Factor´´ of last season returns and we lose our ability to shoot within the opposing goalposts. Shots galore but most not on target.
For the time being we are consistently achieving, fingers crossed anyway.
Totally agree. City have to be so much better than the rest to win stuff.

then denied the one at Brighton, then gave the rags one for a much more accidental handball v Leicester and topped it off by getting Walker sent off against everton.

he's an IED waiting to destroy our season whenever he gets near us

Certainly if we rely on decision making fairness we are relying on luck or battling against predudice so being much better as you say and scoring more goals with our usual plentiful number of chances is our only way to offset that rule interpretation edge most teams seem to have when playing City.

Utd fans in meltdown because they think they get a raw deal from the media too LOL. Was interesting read, though pulled this out from the discussion , by a Utd fan :

"You've got it.

I work in the media myself, and editors will ask us to focus on the most popular teams. That means United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs, probably in that order.

Criticism of a club like United appeals to everyone. Fans of the club will want to grind their teeth and have a moan, and fans of other clubs love the schadenfreude. So a crisis article will always garner more views and clicks than an article saying the club is great - which only appeals to fans of the club concerned.

That, in a nutshell, is why 'United in crisis' articles are so popular.

Had United been bought by a royal family linked to a dodgy regime, as City have, the press would still be talking about it now. But City don't sell papers - in fact our editor once told us to avoid writing about them as it was a waste of time and money.

So just appreciate the fact you support a big club!
"

Says it all for me, no agenda, just pure clickbait and size of the fanbase. This is what we're trying to crack and until we win things the bias will always be the same. It isnt fair but its just the way things are

All that says is the guy isn't a very good journalist if that's what he truly believes about City. Stinks of the view of a clueless rag from Essex who watches 4 United games a season but tells anybody that will listen he's a die hard red.

He's right about selling papers though, that's all it's ever been about and it's why i still can't understand why people get so worked up about, the fact they do shows it works and encourages more of the same thing.

I'm also going to say they're right about United getting a raw deal this season. Don't get me wrong, Mourinho deserves all the shit flung at him, and by association so do United for hiring him, but the whole United in crisis talk is laughable. The football is dire, turgid, mind numbing, lifeless, devoid of any entertainment and should be mocked on a daily basis as should their fans for accepting it but it's effective. They're not in crisis or even remotely close to being in one as much as i'd love that and in any other season where Pep hasn't produced a 10 game masterclass they would be top and the press would be debating whether more teams should be copying Mourinho and ultimately destroy football completely
