No he was pretty uncomplementary to be honest, saying you won't be anywhere near at the end of the season, and that if you were playing in his back garden, he still wouldn't watch you.
I have to say I'm worried by the idea this may be the new dawn of a 'Roy Keane - Comedian' era

I logged onto the Daily Express web site - I couldn't find anything about City, just Spurs and Liverpool. We did play didn't we? I'm not imaging the great win against Napoli?

I found it genuinely amusing! He was so full of praise for us followed by a tongue in cheek dig. No harm done

Me too. He says it as it is and there's still plenty of blues who think Typical City. Plus I like the fact he has no real affection for United and their fans and will criticise them just as quick. Owen on the other hand is a tit.

There's a little snippet in the DT this morning, four paragraphs, tacked onto an article about some shenanigans with paralympics, lauding and feting our performance in Napoli. Not since 2015 has a team put four past Napoli, and they, Lazio, must also have turned up in a change of kit from their sky blue. Seems Napoli have a bit of a problem with sky blue teams. The fourth paragraph spoils it though, 'cos there's the mandatory mention of MANUre from '99!

Having suffered every insult from rival fans for longer than most City supporters I think most of my contempories would actually agree with Mr Keane.
There is always that doubt or worry about which City team would turn up with us fans being the only consistently reliable part of our great Club.

Owners come and go as do players and managers however I am really impressed with the current owner and his way of employing ADUG to run City as though it was part of of his existing investment portfolio but even they must have wondered about last seasons stuttering progress.

My personal concern is that the ´´City Factor´´ of last season returns and we lose our ability to shoot within the opposing goalposts. Shots galore but most not on target.
For the time being we are consistently achieving, fingers crossed anyway.

I'm only worried about two things tbh, fatigue/injuries & referees.

The only 'typical City', is how easy it is to concede a pen in a big game compared to the difficulty of 'winning' one.
