My opinion was not based on the kind of foul, but about how far Otamendi was away from the ball.
you might as well have based it on the number of pigeons nesting within a square mile of the ground, for the relevance it has.
I base it on the simple principle that penalties should be given for obstructing (unlawfully) a goal scoring opportunity. In this case, from what I remember, there was no way Otamendi would have got the ball even without the foul.
