Wrong. Every commentator called it as a pen. Bein. Sky. BBC.Not all fouls in the box are given as penalties though. It would be harsh if it was given IMO.

Then your principle, as well as being simple, is also wrong.I base it on the simple principle that penalties should be given for obstructing (unlawfully) a goal scoring opportunity. In this case, from what I remember, there was no way Otamendi would have got the ball even without the foul.
