BBC Headline on Sports Page "Pep Guardiola: Manchester City boss says Carabao Cup is a 'waste of energy"

Complete fucking misquote from what he said.

Surprise, surprise the headline has now changed to "can be a waste of energy". Me thinks City's PR dept has called the Rag Media City dept.

Nice to see some positive headlines in tomorrow's back pages, just for a bit of balance:

That will be whoever penned them getting the sack then ..

Ha, I imagine the editors of The Telegragh and The Guardian will be fuming that these articles found their way on to their back pages. Someone, somewhere clearly hasn't been briefed about "the agenda"!

Oddly, I saw something comparable. As the piece was about the rags match I wasn't paying much attention but I think they compared the price of Pogba to Burton's record signing and I think he cost 80 times as much.

Not the same, I know, but a step in the right direction I would suggest.
That's a,lie! Pogba cost nothing and even refuses to accept a penny in wages.

Either that, or maybe the conspiracy against us isn't as widely spread as some believe!

Do you really believe that a couple of reasonable articles will change the belief of many fans that there is most certainly a negative agenda against us?
This is the feable argument Frank frequently uses, thought you were better than this Ric, unless you are doing a bit WUMing.

There is no chance a vindictive assault from behind on a player for the rags would have gone unremarked upon in the media like that one on Gundoghan. No chance. Non agenda merchants/rags are free to respond.

No, of course not. Merely pointing out that not everything written about us is part of a negative agenda against the club. Sometimes we get positive articles too.

If 'any' other team had completed 52 passes before scoring a goal do you really think it wouldn't be All over the media channels. Instead I have had to rely on a few dedicated city Twitter handles to even read about it.
Didn't think at the time that an outfield WBA player touched the ball before the goal either.

I've not re-watched it so could be typing bollocks.

Ric I am surprised at you. Nobody said that the occasional decent piece hasn't ever been written about us (Martin Samuels has been mentioned positively in many occasions), but do you really think the media gives us fair and equal treatment with other clubs?
