Tory MP Huw Merriman now wants Wenger to receive even greater recognition of his career.

"I'm proud that Arsene Wenger and the club that he built was built and washes its own face with the highest matchday revenue in the world and not, as he infamously put it, via financial doping from wealthy individuals based in countries with dubious records on human rights and worse."

Even Parliament is in on it!

no he was waxing lyrical about Salah and basically Sky were a bit bored of him so asked him to wrap up before the break and he got on his high horse. Also apparently he likened Salah to Dalglish "with a sun tan"

A convoluted exercise designed to prove the earth is flat. Some fuckwit at Sky must have spent ages trying to work out any ridiculous scenario whereby Liverpool are above City. A bunch of complete oxygen thieving tossers.

@Withnail Wholeheartedly agree.

The mental/statistical gymnastics needed to create this is astounding inofitself. Add to it that someone actually came up with the idea (they didn’t just present some other esoteric study from a lesser known publication) makes it wreak of Liverpool spin and oldboy agenda.

Just for clarity, here is how things stand over the last 8 years, which is a much better barometer for success/dominance.

Notice where Liverpool rank.
