Listening to Talksport discuss if it's Peps fault that Joe Hart is not going to the WC. Tbh they say it isnt but wtf are they even discussing that!? LOL

I like Joe but you can see now that whilst he was a decent shot stopper it only took a drop in confidence and he became very average. His distribution was his big downfall, his shot stopping was decent but some of the other England lads are no different. He just isn't at that level anymore to be guaranteed #1.

If Pep could guarantee that we would have the ball for 100% of the match then in his mind we don't need a goalkeeper and actually Silva could go in net.. Ederson is the happy medium to get him that. It is just a completely different way of thinking.

It isn't Pep's fault that Joe just isn't good enough.

Surely distribution has never been a big thing in this country till pep came along,it was old fashioned english keepers of which joe was very good at,bit unfair to keep chucking distribution at him

Tory MP Huw Merriman now wants Wenger to receive even greater recognition of his career.

"I'm proud that Arsene Wenger and the club that he built was built and washes its own face with the highest matchday revenue in the world and not, as he infamously put it, via financial doping from wealthy individuals based in countries with dubious records on human rights and worse."

Even Parliament is in on it!

He said, just after signing another Saudi arms deal. Seriously what an absolute prick

Wenger's hypocrisy and propaganda is understandable as he looking out for himself but for a politician to start parrotting it verbatim is beyond the pale.

Celebrating that they rip their fans off more than any other club in the world while playing in the EMIRATES stadium. The lack of awareness is staggering

I would rate Ederson as more than just a happy medium.

20 a day Delph, pissshead Walker, plus Stones and Raheem who dared not to dip - all make England squad. Please sign our online petition...

Pretty sure that everyone who got a medal except Zinchenko (Ukraine didn't qualify). Bravo (Chile didn't qualify), Foden and Diaz are going to the World Cup.

Why the 2017-2018 Premier League Season Underwhelmed
Premier League's lack of quality outside of top six more apparent than ever in 2017-18

Here is the end of the article if anyone wants a summary of the latest method of diminishing our triumph—I am sure there will be calls to shackles us next season for “the good of the league and worldwide product!”

In truth, the 2017-18 season was amongst the most forgettable in the 26 editions of the Premier League. It didn't help that the title race was finished by December, but even more problematic was the lack of genuine tests for the bigger sides from the outsiders; the wet and windy night at Stoke was no longer a major issue, Swansea were no longer capable of outpassing big sides. There were few bottom-half players capable of providing a moment of magic to transform a game.

So what were we left with? Games between top sides and bottom sides were predictable, games between bottom sides felt unappetising, and games between the top sides were often irrelevant with the title wrapped up early. The Premier League loves to promote itself in terms of excitement and volatility, but this season was the entire opposite.

Just more fake news. If the league is so poor how did media darlings United lose 20 points to teams outside the top six? How did the team in fourth place reach a Champions League final but also lose 19 points to teams outside the top six?
This is just the latest false narrative to try and undermine City.

Indeed, that is my point (and generally the point of anyone posting articles to this thread, to be fair). ;-)

Strange that I don't recall anyone saying that the level of competition in the Premier League was shit in 1999-2000 when the rags won it by 18 points. Or when they won 13 of the first 21 Premier Leagues.

As for Swansea I seem to recall them beating Liverpool and Arsenal and drawing at Spurs while rock bottom West Brom won at United, beat Spurs and drew home and away at Liverpool and knocked them out of the FA Cup at Klanfield. Poor old Stoke, who nobody feared any more, beat Arsenal, drew at Liverpool and at home to United.
