So what's been said about Citys record breaking winning streak of 15 games ?
Talkshite didn’t mention it once during the Everton/Spurs game. Just that we’d won.So what's been said about Citys record breaking winning streak of 15 games ?
First was superbowl, then test cricket, then tennis, then rugby......followed by usIt is the media thread after all.
City v Liverpool the top matches of any premier league season, and it was reported after ireland v wales rugby, some tennis game and a sport from the USA , a type of rugby I believe.
If you believe a 4 _1 Liverpool victory would have been fifth up I am a dutchman.
Keep enjoying, even if we are not as successful, and enjoy our wonderful free press and fair media.
didn't bother with full time
lescott looked uncomfortable to say the least
That is a good point re: Contract length and not one I’d given much consideration to. My base point still stands though, you don’t give a player such a disproportionately higher wage/package than your best and most consistent performer without expecting problems down the line.So Messi is not a legend?
Not sure if it would be wise to bring him here but in terms of the contract you got to look at the duration. Messi would most likely get a two year deal whereas Kev would probably be offered a five year contract.
In such a scenario what exactly is "contract parity" and no matter how valuable a current player is under no circumstances can they be allowed effectively dictate future recruitment policy.
BBC open up a HYS on the Leicester game, opened for as soon as the rags squeaked through yesterday and featured highlights - not a peep for us or a chance to comment on yet another record. Hope we draw them next, only way to guarantee getting a match shown on the BBC. They're happy to put license payers money in the rag coffers to televise their matches at the expense of others.
Back pages are almost universally very positive about City today. Some of the back pages do look pretty good today though. 'Win-vincibles' - I quite like that.
