Frank as you are such a model of virtue why dont you decide on a similar cause, get adopted by a charity as their figure head, sign a letter to the PM on their headed paper and drafted by them, get several BBC interviews and thus become the hero of the nation.
It wont happen because you are not rich and famous. And those two characteristics are what made the campaign plus the clever PR people of course a success.
It makes me laugh that the lefties on here cannot see past that. Money and fame made it work not the efforts of the thousands of volunteers doing it willingly every day.
So your issue is with how society is constructed, which is certainly not unique to Marcus Rashford. So why the digs at ‘Sir’ Marcus?
It is wrong, I agree, that the persons at the coal face do not receive more plaudits for their contribution but that does not mean I will denigrate/sneer at a young man, who is rich and famous, for doing good and championing a worthwhile cause.
