Loving the absolute drivel about the league being boring because of our domination.

Lets compare the most successful 9 year period.:

Liverpool 1975/76 to 1983/84
7 League titles
4 League cups
4 European Cups
1 UEFA Cup

United 92/93 to 2000/01
7 league titles
3 FA Cups
1 European Cup

Us
4 League titles
5 League Cups
1 FA Cup

3 of our titles were decided on the last game of the season and these are arguably the best Premier League title races there has been.

wait til the next 9 ;)

The expression ' take one for the team', could come into play. If I was on the bus I would tell the driver to stop. Then I would get off and walk alongside the bus . Any bottle or can that hits me I'd go down like mo salah. City could then refuse to play and would have good reason as the safety of their players wasn't guaranteed
After all the condemnation of the S Y police force for their inaction too by all and sundry especially the dippers looking for anyone to blame but themselves, yet nothing about the Merseyside police forces total inaction in a situation that got totally out of hand and was clearly intended to affect the outcome of a massively important football match that looks more and more like they actually instigated or at least took delight in witnessing.

It won't be sarcasm. He's brought this up in the past when we've been in really good form. I'm fairly certain it's his way of keeping himself (and maybe the team?) humble. Judging from most interviews he's done since joining, humility is a big deal to him.
I've watched the press conference and when he hears the name Andy Dunn (Mirror), before the question is asked that he gives the 'we buy the most expensive players', his body language changes. His posture, his hands and his tone all become more stern. Is there previous with the reporter? I don't read any tabloid crap so I wouldn't know.

The clowns are complaining at the moment that they have fallen down the league because they have not had fans in the ground.
Although they don't quite say it, one of the benefits they get is the crowd causing intimidation by its noise for Liverpool and the hostility to the visitors.
As the City team had just suffered several minutes of being hit by hundreds of missiles as the police on foot and riding horses and motorcycles and having lots of CCTV and other coverage and were STILL unable/unwilling to deal with offenders, the players must have had misgivings and those psychological effects you mention that their safety inside the ground was far from certain. I dont know about the whole of the ground but it is very easy for fans in the away end to get on the pitch.
Have you been to anfield?! it's certainly not noisier or intimidating than anywhere else. As for 'not quite saying it', it's all they fucking harp on about - one of the biggest myths in football.

From the Talkshite website:

Asked how City have gone on their sensational 19-match winning run, Pep responded: “We have a lot of money to buy a lot of incredible players.

Seriously? I must admit I’ve not seen any post Match interviews But that does seem very strange to say the least.

He has said it before he is taking the piss.
