Pep could win the lot this season and it wouldn't suprise me if they gave it to someone else, bit like giving it to pardew after Mancini won our first. title in 40+ years and pulis for keeping Palace up after Pellers first title
The most annoying thing about Pellegrini being overlooked for a dinosaur like Pulis after winning the Premier League and League Cup double in his first season in English football was that the following season Mourinho, in his second spell in English football, won the award for exactly the same achievement. No thought of giving the award to Koeman who got Southampton into Europe or Gary Monk who took Swansea to a very creditable 8th place.

And in case any Blues don't know the source of our wealth let me tell you.
The money is from an extremely good, well thought out and perfectly executed business plan. You build a football club(s) into something others want to invest in, you then sell small parts of your business to these companies who pay you far more than you invested initially. Finally you have the sense not to bleed your cash cow dry to prop up your other failing businesses*

*please note, our owner doesn't have any but you know what I mean :-)
Then when you've done that you re-invest the profits into the club and surrounding areas to the benefit of Manchester citizens.
Or you could spunk it all away on dividend payments for the kids.

To be fair, those values are subjective and there’s no way their squad is the most valuable. Inflated figures to try and make them look good.

we have spent the most over the last 12 years, 10 years and since pep but there are other measures during the last 6/7 years depending on where you take it where United are top of the spend list and more so on wages.
Liverpool have spent loads over the entirety of the last 30 years by comparison with less success.
Of course, adjusting historic figures for inflation is also a worthy exercise.

Yes the figures are subjective. Interestingly CIES Football Observatory came to the same conclusion as transfer market last year. Still best estimate but based on an algorithm using multiple data points.

Completely disagree they are inflated to make Liverpool look good. The "valuable" list has been used frequently against us as well as "most expensive". Hence I like the idea of the media (chance in a million) hammering poor little Liverpool for their excuses when in fact they have the most valuable squad.

Only legacy players pre-Pep are Dinho and Aguero (both on their last legs) with Sterling and KDB from 15/16.

The only true transfer figures are those booked in the accounts.

Aggregate amortisation for the 5 seasons from 14/15 to 18/19:

United £576 million
City £547 million
Chelsea £523 million
Liverpool £373 Million
Arsenal £366 Million.

If you add wages the totals are:

United £1.903
City £1.778
Chelsea £1.771
Liverpool £1.529
Arsenal £1.407

After profits on transfers the list remains in the same order.
