You simply can't allow decisions to be made with such a large technical margin of error. The issue is not really about when players are level (or not) but when the ball leaves the player's foot or head. The frozen frame from the Laporte decison against Wolves shows the ball had deflected off Bernardo's head and was just in the air. If they had used the immediate frame before (when the ball was touching Bernardo's head) Laporte was onside. The system is absurd but so few media people seem prepared to call it out for what it is. As it is being used VAR is damaging football. It should be a tool to help the referee.

Yesterday's headline in the same prominent position on the BBC main football page was: "The remarkable rise of Bruno Fernandez." Again it was totally unbalanced and without any context with no mention of Fernandes's dire form since Christmas and in all the big games. Sycophantic drivel.

Is that the remarkable rise of Fernandes as he gets up uninjured from yet another dive in the area?

Just seen SKY advert / trailer for Sunday, featuring rat boy, the story line starts off as if it’s going to be a Title decider, and it’s all about the rise of Noddy and all his friends from Toy Town, tails off a bit when the last lines are him blurting on about making it difficult for us to win the league. The technology is not accurate to within millimetres. It depends on when the frame is frozen and that depends on the shutter speed. We are just being conned by PGMOL. The only way forward is for the referee to use the video as an extra tool and make the judgement himself based on what he sees. If level the attacker gets the benefit of the doubt. The whole thing is just a money-making scheme for PGMOL and the referees who are now being paid a lot more money because the Stockley Park operation means they work on more matches. All the drawing of squiggly lines is bollocks.

I agree technology not up to it.
If both frames or better still the one they use as well as the ones immediately before and after it there would be more fair.
Short of using slo MO cameras like in horse racing finish line accuracy will always be a problem.

If have been waiting for over 3 weeks for a response to my last complaint. They have emailed me and told me it will be answered but the are experiencing a higher number of complaints than normal lol I kid you not !!

If it was an innocent mistake every now and then they'd exaggerate our achievements. Oddly (or, perhaps, not) that has never happened. Tells us everything we need to know.
