Remember when Swales used to sit in the stand, how fantastic was that. Each supporter, whether in the Kippax, Platt Lane or Main Stand felt a special warmth and glow knowing that our owner sat amongst us. Or was that someone pissing down my leg?

It was amazing fans stayed behind after the game waiting for him to leave, what a star! We were truely blessed!

Nah, you're mixing her up with Natalie Sawyer, it's easily done. HRH is a massive superhoops fan. She's known to warm her voice up before the Christmas speech with increasing volume vocalisations of "Come on you R'ssssssss, wears a blue and white hooped vest under her state regalia and has a tattoo of Stan Bowles on her left buttock.

No I am quite clear on what I said.

I am trying to explain that there are 3 things to take into consideration.

1. What I (or the individual fans) want.
2. How things should be.
3. How things are.

These 3 are ALL open to interpretation by the individual, and collective agenda driven, mendacious societies.

1. What I want, ...is City not be be abused, and I also want to see more of our owner at the stadium.
2. How things should be, ...is abuse not be levelled at the club or owners, and Football clubs should be judged on individual merit, and not be mingled with prejudice, politics or partisanship.
3. How things are, ...is nothing like anything I have laid out above.

I've been a City supporter for many more years than I care to remember but the last few years have been the best ever for me and any new fans.

As supporters we emotionally and financially support our Club through thick and thin, good players and bad, variable managers and owners. We are committed for life.

It is possible our main owner sees us only as a financial investment and as such he is a very welcome change to some previous leeches. I look at his business plan and admire his massive investment and compare it to other owners who just want a cash cow or a charismatic profile (or both).
I know which I would choose but as I said I have no choice as a supporter, just CTID.

We don't choose our owners, and if they are distant benefactors bringing untold success, then very happy days. The grim alternative is to experience what is happening at 5 of the other 'big 6' clubs.
However, with that great success has come a battle that we didn't ask for. It's a battle the vast majority of fans will fight for, regardless, anyway.
I just feel a few more regular visits to the stadium by our owner would be a big positive, all round.
1. Positive media exposure for the owner and club.
2. A chance for us fans to show our appreciation.
3. Give us a renewed sense of determination to fend off the scriking bullshit bottom feeder (social) media lot.
4. Identify the club as owned by a PERSON.
