The arrogance and dismissal of City is where the rags have got themselves into the situation they are now. Keep repeating the Greatest club in the world to themselves whilst City walk off with all the trophies. The fact that the likes of Harry Kane would probably pick City over United 9 times out of 10 does not compute. Why would Harry Kane want to play at the swamp, they shit the bed in January when they had to kick on in the league. They can’t even get past some Turkish no hopers to get through the group stages in the champions league.

Once they let go of the past and banging on about the United way they might get themselves to a point where they can compete. Unfortunately they have a manager who can’t shut up about the past, long may he remain in charge.
This is 100 per cent true. United fans have turned into scousers. They are literally fixated with the past. Perhaps it is a comfort blanket for them. It reminds me of all those huge firms that have gone out of business in the digital age. There is a collective burial of heads in the sand.
The United management has been arrogant and complacent about City for so long as shown by Fergie's graceless comment: "Not in my lifetime." The world has changed dramatically in the last 10 years and they have not changed with it.
Some of their local fans are finally waking up to the reality. They can stroll round Ancoats and see the 6000 homes and businesses Sheikh Mansour has built there, soon they will be attending concerts at Europe's biggest arena, and all the time they will be pouring more cash into City's wallet.
It's nothing to do with "sportswashing." We have mugged them in their own backyard!

When people went in to a newspaper shop to buy a newspaper en masse that was the true arbiter of either quality of responsibility to the readers. It's rare a Sun reader would go and buy the times or guardian just to have a nosey.

Now though we are just a click away, it's got to be a pretty stupid editor who would sent his newspaper down the swanny considering all they had to do was play the game and not employ reporters but social media commentators.

If we lose next Saturday i expect the RDAHMeedya to jump onto another Foden jousting competition and suggest that he needs to go to Real, Barca, Juve, PSG in order to, er, find a well-stocked lake teeming with fish. They can't make any suggestion that he needs 'minutes' or a different coach or some new team mates. Perhaps he needs a new set of fans, ones who'd appreciate him!
Or the brain.......... Never mind.

Do you think we can expect the media to combine to attack the concert part of the investment.
By that I mean Silver Lake are USA based so will this be accepted as in football?

Possibly the plan starts with football then move on to concerts with a bit house building as well.

Where next we should ask.

I wonder why only City’s ownership is regularly forensically analysed by such paragons of objectivity such as Conn. Presumably every other football club in existence has been founded, funded and administered with impeccable ethics. I thank him for telling me it was City’s lawyers who had the uefa ban overturned and that facts and evidence had nothing to do with it.
Obviously his opinion has nothing to do with the fact that currently the history clubs tm. are years behind City

Ai Abacus... let’s look at the veracity of the Mails proposition in their article shall we children...

Now Ai Abacus may be a logic based system for assisting with player recruitment and development but their company still seems happy to quote the opinion of fuckwits on their website.

The mail have taken their headline from the opinion of that well known cockwomble John Barnes who was actually contributing opinion to a betting company - not even to Ai Abacus who merely quoted what he had said.

To save you looking this is the Barnes opinion as included in the Ai Abacus website.

“Earlier this week it was revealed that Kane had told Spurs he wanted to leave the club this summer and worse still, he wants to stay in the Premier League. With their spending power, ability to win trophies seemingly at will, and the fact they need to replace their star striker, City are favourites to sign the England striker.

Chelsea and United are also amongst the sides expected to make a move for the 27-year-old, and Liverpool legend John Barnes thinks Kane should pick one of those two sides.

"As far as the three clubs go, he should pick Chelsea or Manchester United rather than Manchester City," Barnes told Bonus Code Bets.
"If he goes to Manchester City, he is not going to be the player he is at Tottenham, because at Tottenham he is the creator, goal scorer and the focal point for everything.

"Chelsea and Manchester United need a centre forward. Manchester United have good players around them. They have got Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, but they really need a number nine.’

Those who have bothered to read my post with good eye will have noted that neither Pernandes or Pogba is even mentioned in the Barnes opinion but the Mail have managed to shoehorn them into their headline.

Typical bitter, City hating. See a spurious opportunity to kick City, dress it up with some dodgy provenance, publish and wait for the clicks. The Mail are really desperate aren’t they? Their standards and what pitiful integrity they currently grasp onto slips by the day.
I am not really bothered if we get kane but fuck me my head hurts with the complete shite in that article.
