Do you think we can expect the media to combine to attack the concert part of the investment.
By that I mean Silver Lake are USA based so will this be accepted as in football?

Possibly the plan starts with football then move on to concerts with a bit house building as well.

Where next we should ask.
I think CFG will look to put a Basketball franchise in the new arena, perhaps even one for the NBA. It will also be huge for boxing. Spurs are trying to do the same with their new stadium and the NFL.
The opportunities are endless really. CFG have now got sites all over the world near Tokyo, Melbourne, New York, Mumbai, China, South America etc etc. They can link up all of them to get sport and leisure sponsorships. We can broadcast our own events digitally across the globe. This is the future of professional sport, whether we like it or not. Personally I am happy to see modernisation and change. I just wish I was 30 years younger.

"Man United are the best fit for footloose Harry Kane, says state-of-the-art AI computer which analyses MILLIONS of stats... and says Pogba, Rashford and Fernandes would be PERFECT team-mates"

Have you ever read such laughable shite in all your life. Ok probably been other equally cringy stuff but this is up there. I am not even angry at it because, well just look at that title haha. I recall some of these super algotithms used the other year to predict the title winners, it got it wrong of course.

No need really to click the link, the title says all you need to know.

Harry kane says he would love to play alongside Kev De Bruyne.............but the super computer says pogbad, rashford, penandes are the perfect team-mates

Oh well that nails it then

Bwaaahaahahahahahaahahahahahah

What a fucking bore.
It's a article which seems obsessed with the nationality of our owner, repeating trope after trope in every paragraph. Essentially an exercise in sectarian hatred dressed up as a news article. Conn doesn't seem to understand the difference between CFG and Manchester City FC. It even makes reference to the demise of Bury and Bolton football clubs as if that is City's fault. If Conn had any proper contacts in the Manchester area he would know that the demise of both those clubs was caused by simple criminality. The Bury and Bolton fans know full well what went wrong. To link it to investment in Manchester City is farcical and deceitful.

It used to royally piss me off when reading the negative articles about both our club, owners and the attacks on our fan base.....but it has become so clear what the agenda is that I dont even register it any longer to allow myself to get wound up

It is rinse and repeat the same old cliche stories, that I just now laugh them all off. I find it more entertaining that they put out the same old revised articles that it just shows their desperation and jealousy

In fact I would say I revel in it now. for those fellow Blues who still get angered etc, dont. Look past the reaction that they want and just see it for what it is and just laugh at them

Good points. There is serious revenue in play here. Incidentally my wife wishes I was 30 years younger as well...and maybe someone else!

What a fucking bore.
That is a particularly unpleasant article full of inaccuracies but more worringly has some racist undertones. Im very suprised the Guardian's chief editor has let that go out.

Harry Kane, however, is not a state of the art computer and seems to take a different view of his future.

The part about Bury and Bolton pissed me off the most.
