Dont know if anyones mentioned this yet but sky just as bad, The Football Show yesterday, Rob Wotton, (Chelsea Fan) introduced the programme "only one place we can start today... Liverpool!!!!!! i shit you not!.
 
What a pair of adolescent pricks Ferdinand and Humphries are in that video. One was acting like the school bully and one was acting like his biggest fanboy. I was half expecting Humphries to say “Hit him Rio”. What a pair of twats!

Joe Cole was absolutely right apart from saying biggest instead of best. I’ve not checked but I think we have won 10 trophies since they last won one so get to f*ck you embarrassing pair of absolute pricks!

Not sure if the correct thread but I really like Joe Cole as a pundit. Maybe not in the same league as say nedum onhora or any other great pundits out there but he always seems fair to us and doesn’t waffle on with a load of shit. Was a really really great footballer too and had so much natural ability and his technique was outrageous as a young footballer. Probably didn’t make the correct choices on what clubs he went to as he should have achieved so much more than he did.

The arrogance and dismissal of City is where the rags have got themselves into the situation they are now. Keep repeating the Greatest club in the world to themselves whilst City walk off with all the trophies. The fact that the likes of Harry Kane would probably pick City over United 9 times out of 10 does not compute. Why would Harry Kane want to play at the swamp, they shit the bed in January when they had to kick on in the league. They can’t even get past some Turkish no hopers to get through the group stages in the champions league.

Once they let go of the past and banging on about the United way they might get themselves to a point where they can compete. Unfortunately they have a manager who can’t shut up about the past, long may he remain in charge.

What makes a big club ?

A big statium with a dodge roof, seats crammed together, a big vermin problem.
A championship manager, sign old players for their last big contract.

Or the club has a huge debt

Camel gob certainly doesnt go by success on the pitch. Perhaps nowadays it's the tweeter followers or Facebook followers a club has. Or the amount of plastic fans you have.

Playing in the second division Europe league.

There are plenty of good honest ex pros who should be employed not someone who brought shame onto football for being a drugs cheat.

If I was an ex pro I wont want to be working along a side drugs cheat. Knowing I have sweated blood sweat and tears , to stand next to someone who cheated. I couldnt dont that unless its common place in football and all footballers are using drugs.

The fact that he is employed sort of sends out a signal that football doesnt take drug cheating seriously. Hence no one questions liverpool drop of, after 3 seasons of playing the same 15 at 100 mph. It's well know you have to come of peds after a 3 year cycle.

The silence is deafening and known cheats are employed in the press/media.

Good article in i online this morning by Neville Southall former Everton keeper (great keeper in his day, better to look at his earlier years than when he 'let himself go' later on though!!)
General theme of the article is about football not being the same without fans this season amongst other things.
Big Nev talking a lot of sense, says he thinks Pep deserves to win CL because what he has done so well at City after early season doubts. Southall also mentions how much the owners have done for East Manchester, and about City fans loyalty and the fact we were always here in the bad times.
It's fairly irrelevant who he wants to win on Saturday tbh, but it's refreshing to see the other comments. Southall isn't saying ground breaking stuff, he's just looking at stuff in a rational, considered, informed view as a neutral outsider

I don't understand why it's always the biggest that is the best. We might not be the biggest club, the richest club, the club with most internet fans ,but I'll tell you what, we are the best club.

Well he's just talked himself out of a job with Sky, BT and the BBC then. He never mentioned 'Istory', 'Class of 92', 'The Nited Way', 'European Royalty', or anything like that. Poor form that Nev!
 
Conn at it in The Guardian and he's got a full house and then some in the City Bingo card.

My biggest issue is that he says our owners have pumped £2.5B into the club which is not true. They have spent that amount on The City Football Group by acquiring other teams and building the infrastructure of said teams.

City have obviously been the main benefactor of the money but no one truly knows how much they have spent solely on us.

But tell a lie long enough and people will accept it as truth
