Apologies if this has been posted but I’ve just seen an advert for Sky tv and they’re showing different clips of all the things they will be showing, then there’s Martin Fucking Tyler exclaiming “the pride of the premier league” alongside footage of Liverpool lifting the Premier League trophy!!!! Am I missing something here?

Helps to airbrush last season from scouse memory Bank. Promote it often enough and it becomes true? If they'd started the season just gone with Vinnie lifting it, most of us would've been a bit embarrassed?

Yes thank you. I’m back at the front of CBL1 Row A. All ready and eager to give the opposition’s manager a few suggestions as to how his players had better keep their fouling tactics away from our wonderful, perfect players. :-) Roll on August.

Is it just me that Emma Hayes’s voice grates on so much that I can’t watch any game she is commentating on?

She sounds like Stuart Pierce at times - not a good sound for anyone let alone a woman either in tone or content.

Doesn't one of the trailers say a sickly ' born in Madeira moulded in Manchester. Yuck.
The Piss Can seems to be featured in a lot of documentaries across all channels too, ITV even advertising the Sky ones.
Then there's the ads with Cantona looking as old as the GPC and older than me I am glad to say.
In the middle of this rag fest there's an international tournament supposed to be going on.
