Totally agree with you. I stated earlier it was great for non City English fans. Won the game and a chance to whine about Raheem. If not him it would have been Stones,Walker or Foden.

Totally ignored that the England side has City players at its heart with 3-4 players on the field for nearly all the time. Grudging credit for Sterling in some quarters even though he has been the best player whilst Stones and Walker are relatively ignored in comparison to rags Maguire and Shaw. Potential rag Sancho and others bigged up over Foden.

Remember over a third of the England side on the field at the final whistle against Denmark are City players. Similarly for Spain in the semis with KdB Belgiums outstanding player. Not forgetting Portugal where Cancelo missed out.

Even Bobby Manc is ex-City :)

A lot of people hurting.

Beginning to wish someone else got that penalty for us, you know, someone who would have "won the penalty" with his driving runs into the box terrifying Denmarks defenders into making Rash challenges.

As it is, Sterling will be the one having his confidence challenged by the whingers, racists, opposing fans, bitter pundits and vile media, all desperate for it to go wrong for him and probably England.

I hope we win it easily on sunday with a great display.
Grealish was praised for 'winning a foul' in the first couple of minutes on the pitch. He will find the praise will disappear if he comes to City.
Personally l don't see what is so good about getting a free kick once the whole defence has got organised ready for Kane to hit the wall or Magliar to attempt to slab it.

On TalkSport it seems to be all about Sterling and Kane diving rather than the fact England made it to the final. Saying that, it’s being presented by a Scotsman who has to be controversial to keep the listeners engaged, even if in anger.

Good to see Townsend sticking up for the guys though.
I was listening to that debate. First words out of shoutys mouth was Sterlicheat and diver blah blah. Then some scouse prick having a go at Kane and Sterling for diving, before Townsend asked him if any Liverpool players dived at the first gust of wind. The reply.... we aren't talking about Liverpool.... end of call

Was listening to 606 and how everybody was surprised at how well England was controlling possession and that their game management was so good after Kane's penalty. It got me thinking. While Southgate has undoubtedly done well, I think Pep has had a big influence on the style of football we play in this country we're now seeing in this England team. It's no surprise all the City lads have been superb. Yet the media can't quite admit it can they ?

It’s the hypocrisy that gets me.
If England had been knocked out they would have calling for Sterling to have gone down. After all it’s the semi final with a lot at stake. Those foreigners would have done it etc etc
