I rate Samuel but this is a joke. I always think he is fair and balanced so why just these 2 teams ? The biggest culprits are the rags, at least we solve our problems by throwing players at it. I wouldn't be surprised if that piece had been heavily editorialised. The days of free thinking journalists being able to essentially print what they want has long gone. Generating clicks is where it's at these days.
I’ve been thinking this myself. Pep and City have had a huge influence on this England team. The way we play, the spirit, the confidence, the players…whilst it would be arrogant to say that’s all it is, it is a significant factor.
So according to his logic should nobody be making huge new signings and paying huge wages.
