A like for the first person to tell me to fuck off if i dont like it.
Raheem Sterling says fuck off for putting Greggs on your list. Given the time he has spent in England could you change it to Giggs,

is it just me….but why are the City pages in the MEN full of negativity! The only one who seems to be pro City is Stewart Brennan. Since the days of Chris Bailey only Stewart has positive comments all the rest revel in telling us our transfer plans are down the pan etc.
just for once it would be brilliant if we broke the bank with a couple of deals. Khaldoon said this window would be disruptive in our rebuilding can’t wait for this to start but back to my original question how satisfied are we with the reporters assigned to bring us genuine news? In the City section of the MEN?
The same Stuart Brennan who’s latest muen article is headlined “Kyle Walker could win the Euros for England, OR FOR ITALY”. Twat, brennan not Kyle. Imagine muen running a story like that for slabhead or shaw? No me neither

I beg to differ on the relevancy as the point I was alluding to is that it is much more difficult to be objective when you're on the inside looking in. What you might think as great, others may not agree with, especially when it comes to nationalism. A number of those points you list could quite easily be challenged by others with a non English centric world view.
Indeed, Billy! The DT this morning gives the front page of the main news section to Southgate and a call upon the 'English Warriors from history'! I wonder who might those warriors be and if they were flashed up on a big screen prior to kick off how many of the crowd would recognise them and how many who did recognise them would begin a chorus of booing! I would list Churchill, Nelson, Bomber Harris, Francis Drake, Clive of India, Wellington and every MC 'n VC since the Crimean War! And that would no doubt offend hordes of people. And the last time we won a major final Edward Colston was looking out over Bristol Harbour on his plinth.

Wellington was Irish

Just read it and the reference to City and Chelsea in the article is unnecessary and adds nothing to the article. Like having the price of fish in the article. There is simply no need to mention clubs at all.
I suspect that there has been editorial changes to attract clicks and so my opinion on Samuel as an individual remains favourable.
Martin Samuel is consistently pro City though he's a fair minded West Ham fan. He exposes FFP for the nonsense it is and says without investment at City and Chelsea United would be as dominant as Bayern in Germany. Best sport writer by a country mile and the only reason I by the Mail.

It's not strange that Samuel appears to be the only one who consistently has exposed FFP to be the instrument of protectionism that it is. The fact that he is the only one tells us a lot about the others. I await the impartial, forthright, circumspect Dan Roan to, somewhat belatedly, appear outside The Colin Bell Stand and begin a full and robust exposure of, oh, wait a minute, he's already been outside CB and tried to paint us guilty when the charge was thrown out!
