The police and stewards had scarpered, so no protection there.. a very lairy situation as young people say nowadays! And all the way out of The Swamp there were scraps and violence I’d not seen the like of since the advent of modern hooliganism in the mid-sixties. We couldn’t celebrate the goal until we got back into my pal’s van. So, yes, no love lost, as you say!

I think the paper was famous for regular spelling and grammatical errors years ago. As is the MEN now. Every piece seems to be error strew.

Precisely. I have to make the case continually, and I will whilst they continually publish articles that marginalise or criticise City and worship at the altar of Man Utd and Liverpool.

There are tens of thousands of City fans online. Act as City fans and not cash cows for hostile media outlets

So, who exactly are you continually 'making the case' to? Very few, if any of us actually read or contribute financially to the Grauniad, and wouldn't have a clue what shit they were talking if you didn't constantly bombard this site with it.
