Thing is though mate, we got next to no praise whatsoever for our achievements..

What we got were snide comments about having to win the PL back to back to be considered a great team..

100 points in a season, no VAR assistance, unlike the dippers btw, not one iota of recognition..

Then we were told that we were disrespectful to Burton and Watford for having the audacity to score more that 3 goals against them..

No recognition for the wonderful football we played in beating one opponent who made the LC semi and a team who made the FA Cup final..

Winning all 4 domestic trophies, an achievement never been done before or since, not so much of a well done from the cnuts in the media..

What we got were the usual bollocks "look at the money they've spent", twats like Allardyce, Pulliis and Dyche gobbling off in the media saying that it's no big deal and given the same opportunity they'd achieve just the same..

The press desperate to get us convicted by UEFA along with the dippers, rags and the other cnuts writing to UEFA to get us banned for a minimum of 2 seasons from the Champions League..

Fkin ratboy laughing at us because we were losing, no impartiality shown and the commontator, Leslie joining in, the knob..

The dippers and rags get reffed differently, they also get commontated on differently..

I wish we'd stand up for ourselves more and reel some of these twats in..

The coverage our club gets acoss the board in all forms of the media is not f'kin acceptable..

I for one am sick to death of seeing. hearing and reading negative shit after negative shit about my club every day..

Unfortunately I can't do anything about it and neither can you..

City can though..!

Well said and I cant understand how any blue doesn't think theres an agenda against us...right from the start of our owners takeover weve heard it all....it went from "you need more than money to become successful" to " buying success"...."you cant buy class"...."morally bankrupt"..."cheats"....as you point out after we won the title with football the premiership has never seen before "you can only be called a great side after winning it back to back then when we did they then went on to talk about the rags winning it 3 times on the trot and adding " to become a top side they need to win the CL"...all our signings include wages and addons (don't see this done with anyone else),,," were ruining football by inflating the market " ...whereas Chelsea rags and scousers signings are reported as essential and exciting...all these quotes have come from the media there are many more and I don't understand how the club haven't taken action or at least banned some of these feckers especially all the CAS and UEFA stuff (a lot of it libellous)

Do you think City know how much all this shit and the way the press/media deal with City efforts us fans ?
Last season what with VAR it really got me down, every day a negative story would pop up on my Google news app. Than we were cleared by CAS and still the shit and lies were said or printed.
For the last 5 or so years the abuse that gets shouted at me from passing cars etc when out in my City coat/top etc has increased massively. Mostly about being cheats and oil money. I live in bloody thanet not exactly a hot bed of football is margate/ramsgate/broadstairs but everyone seems to think we are cheats. Supporting City use to be fun no hassle but now I have to accept abit of abuse, I guess it comes with being successful.

I really wish City would stand up to the press/media.

How much have the Rags spent on midfielders since 2016 ? Fred, Pogba, Donny Van De Beek, Bruno Fernandes, Matic, and that's not counting Alexis Sanchez. £300 million plus Slabhead, Wan Bissaka (£130 million combined). Can't remember when the bought Memphis or Angel Di Maria. Sky seem happy to go back as far as Mangala when doing their calculations so be interesting to see the comparison.
 
The fact remains that 5 other Premier League Clubs have still spent more on at least one player than City have ever done.

rags - Pogba, Lukaku & Maguire
Liverpool - Van Dijk & Alisson
Chelsea - Kepa & Havertz
Arsenal - Pepe
Spurs - Ndombele (just)

This is notwithstanding the regular habit of the media reporting City's transfer fees including add ons and other clubs (notably the rags but lately Havertz too) without. I've also noticed in particular that some outlets have inflated KDB's fee by converting his Euro fee into Pounds at the current shit rate and not at the more favourable rate at the time he signed.

They (the media) will go on and on about our spending.

However, what they'll never report is that Manchester City are the only premier league football club to finish in the top four every season since 2012.

There won't be a comparison. The RDAHMeedya don't do comparisions 'cos it's not what the majority of subsribers want. They have bought into Sky's agenda 'cos it fits their tiny minds a lot better than adopting some kind of independent, judgmental thinking! Let's take what Sky dole out, it sounds right. One of the cycling members in our bespoke cycling club was an erstwhile Rag - Stretford End in the hooligan days, etc - and he is a walking advert for Sky. He regularly churns out the Sky shite about Raheem. He only ever talks about the misses, and our dreadful our defence was. How many goals has he scored? Dunno? How many clean sheets (last season) did MCFC have? Dunno. And when you inform him he still goes back to the old crackly cracked record of how many misses and how many goals we ship! Straight off Sky! Or BT.
