Messi's joining the ranks of Newcastle supporters with their tops off?!?

As long as he does not sign for Zinedine Sedan.

I would have thought that was in breach of legislation relating to mis-selling a product by making reference to Messi

Messi’s potential signing really would be the proverbial ‘rock and hard place‘ for so many clubs in the PL and indeed for the league itself.
It may not have escaped everyone’s attention, but there is a number of clubs who tried their best to influence CAS against us because they basically hate our guts, and there is the view that was expressed by (I think) Richard scudamore when he was chief of the PL, that a strong United was good for the product (CL) because it would put bums on seats and increase tv revenues considerably, and raise the world-wide profile, and profits.
The amount of fans and tv revenues potentially raised by the presence of the world’s best player would probably be way above anything seen so far, and of course, the raggies, dippers, arse et al would expect to get their share on the back of our popularity and business and financial acumen.
It‘s a funny old game.

Deloony et al nursing their semis whilst writing their Messi snubs City pieces just on case.

I don't believe any other club hates us. We haven't done anything to them to cause that reaction.
It is the simple fact that they fear us.
They know they haven't got the means/motivation or business plan we have.
If City's owners simply wanted to "sport wash", they would have splashed the cash and hoped for the best ala PSG.
They didn't. The first thing they did was outline a ten year plan that included a world class youth academy.
FFP instead of stopping us actually accelerated the ten year plan.
The academy is starting to churn out talent, which either gives us first option or a source of cash.
The City Football Group is the long term plan for global revenue and exposure.
Every other club in the world sees this and knows there is nothing they can do about it.
I don't believe City actually want to dominate football. That actually wouldn't be healthy for us or other clubs.
I think the plan is to be successful but mainly profitable.

Do the press want to report this...not a chance!

The CAS ruling destroyed their 'project'.

They will get dirtier off the field and on it against us. It's not as if FSG haven't done it before.
