So arguably, by failing to win the title for so long, mentioning the duration of time would be more damming for Liverpool?

Because as you highlighted 12, years is not so long, where as 30 years for a club like Liverpool is.

I just don't see a slight there on that one. Its a great win tonight, worth just enjoying that.

Good point. Also even a first choice is only normally going to take them on their preferred side, distance etc.

The reports from the 2018 and 2019, both similarly small and uninspiring in relation to plaudits and accolades. I hope you will be the first to praise the consistency of the BBC, in this instance?

I don't know him but he certainly has some devoted fans in certain quarters.
Perhaps these people are equally supportive of United supporting referees when they make 'mistakes' that City fans dont like?

Having had a Google on past finals they are indeed consistent.

If you'd like to find the relevant local news, sports news on TV for those days that would be handy.
