Think he wasn't well for one of the games. The thing is with Foden they're too thick to realise that the player we are seeing now is because of the way he's being handled, Southgate alluded after Wed's game to his lack of physicality and how he's got to be managed. The Sancho effect is skewing the handling of young players, even though now if you look at Sancho he's nowhere near the player he was 18mth ago, struggling at Dortmund and desperately needs taking out for a while

Agree all these numptys thought it would be better for Phil to spend a season on load getting kicked from pillar to post to improve him. Instead of training day in day out with some of the best players in the world.
I really struggle to understand the British press/media and pundits, surely it's better to learn your trade from world class players than having the shit kicked out of your at a lower level. But no the numptys think Phil learning from our magician was wrong.
Phil is being trained by the worlds best manager.

Just more fake news. He's now had 84 first team appearances...that 84 more than Paul Scholes at the same age. He's won five major trophies plus the under-17 World Cup with England where he was Player of the Tournament. He's the most successful young player for his age in the world. We must be doing something wrong with his development. Perhaps he should move on and play in the German pub league with Sancho!

I'm sure they said that another England player Maitland-Niles had played less than that (7mins) for Tarquins yet none said he should move on to get more game time. Another thing Sly always do is when they are discussing players doing well ie Vardy and Che Adams today they show them scoring against us as if they never score against anybody else!
